Last viewer loved the house but garden too big...
The main things we did was de clutter everywhere and touch up paint on small cracks etc, along with clearing the garden and jet washing all the concrete and slabs outside.
At least if it's been rearranged the EA should be able to show them round now hmd?First win (October) - Apple Ipod off a radio competition
November - new nokia mobile phone, £250 electrical voucher (both radio comptitions)
March - 2 cinema tickets to see 27 dresses (radio again!)

yep its been rearranged to monday afternoon, so just got to keep the house tidy till then! bit difficult with 2 year old twins lol0

The company who came to "buy our house" were more interested in becoming our EA. The bloke was like a window salesman...even though we told him over and over again we were only interested in the cash offer. Very pushy...cash offer very low once we had told him what 80% of £110k was (he couldnt work it out....)
18 months on the market now....have booked us a lovely family holiday to put my focus elsewhere. Market slow now but still having 1 viewing a week.
For anyone not aware - our house has been completely renovated but is situated next to a working mens club. I'm going to ask the EA to make sure ALL viewers are aware of where it is located as I'm completely fed up of people saying "Id buy it in a heartbeat if it was located elsewhere"
The price REALLY reflects where it is, so they wouldn't get a house like this for the price if it were located elsewhere.
Rant over....lets see what next week holds x0 -
Bonfire Bride that is very frustrating for you.
I am hoping after the referendum we will see a surge in interest.0 -

I prefer viewing houses just with the vendor, I get a much better feeling about the place and can chat to them naturally as we go along. If it's not possible for the vendor to be there then fair enough but the worst thing is when the EA does it and the vendor is awkwardly staying out of the way, like pretending to read a book! it's way too awkward and very off putting.
I really enjoyed showing people our last house, it was a good laugh tbh and I even pointed out a few negatives which made them more keen (reverse psychology apparently) and resulted in an offer we accepted.
Good luck tomorrow0 -

A year and a half on the market should tell you the price REALLY DOESN'T reflect where it is.0 -
I like to meet the vendor. Estate agents seem especially bad at being prepared for questions.0

Good luck with it.
Even though I've now sold my house (subject to contract), we have another problem. My husband has been renting his house out since moving in with me because he was unable to sell it, but the tenants have turned out to be a nightmare and he'd like them out. He is thinking of using one of those companies who buy any house as just wants rid of the place, do you have any recommendations?0 -
I need some support so may join you here if that's ok! Put flat on market beginning of May, had a major declutter and put 3 boxes of my belongings and exercise bike in hubby's van which was then stolen!0
