I hate the 15 min slot EAs give we tend to always stay longer when viewing a house we are seriously interested in.

I'm getting anxious. Our house is in an ideal area and should sell quickly (We hoped) It went on Wed night. We have 1 booking for tomorrow but we did not have any viewings over the weekend. Am I expecting too much?
Recently married and loving it x

Agree im not entitled to feedback but I expect more input and engagement from someone im potentially paying thousands of pounds to.

Finding the right price is easier said than done. What would everyone's advice be to try and get a better idea?

Drop the price until you get an offer. People will say - Oh you can`t do that, you will look desperate, and you can`t put the price back up etc. etc. TBH you can probably put the price back up and take it off the market as many times as you want, but the only way to find the price/demand limit is to move the price.

I don't know if you are expecting to much because I've never sold a house before but I know I will be the same as you, I will be expecting viewings straight away. I am going to be a nightmare for the estate agent because I will be on their vase all the time :o

Our photos were done today. The man said that he would send them off to be edited today (I had no idea they did that, it also would explain why some houses are much better in pics) he is expecting to send me the finished article to check tomorrow, then it should be live by Wednesday.

Nightsky - our house has been on over a week now. Only one viewing. We dropped the price today. Got two more viewings booked now. I'd still hope for a few more than two though.

We are officially for sale! Went live on Rightmove today.

Now to sit back (im)patiently and wait for the viewings to come rolling in:eek:

Dropping the price after just one week is a bit odd. Just because you had just one viewing it doesn't mean the price is wrong.

Yeah I thought people might think that. I wasn't happy with it being high to begin with but we thought we weren't in a rush. I didn't realise having a house to sell makes it harder to put an offer on one. We'd rather have our house sold than hang on forever. I don't think that's odd. We just made a mistake with the initial price.

OMG, just re-looked at our online listing and realised they have edited out some storage boxes from the top of my wardrobes, toys from my sons room and a box on a shelf in the spare room... I totally never noticed at first. Shouldn't have bothered hiding the cereal in the tumble dryer, it could've just been edited out :rotfl:

No viewings here in about 3 weeks i think. Hubby wants to wait 6 months to move but Ive kept house on the market because it may take that long anyway!

Ive got a few improvements planned over the next few months - including repainting the exterior of the house!
