Oh wow, 25! Ahh I am really hoping that I don't have to have that many viewings. I can't cope with that. The thought of more than a handful of viewings is really off putting. It would be great if the first person through the door would buy it (not likely I know)

I'd kill for 25 viewers at the mo  In fact, I'd kill for a couple lol!

Well done all! At least you're all making me realise the market's not as dead as I seem to be witnessing. Just nowt is selling!

We went to view what we thought was our dream home last night. We were excited/nervous, we came out of there so disappointed. It was pretty awful, not sure how it managed to look so nice on pictures. Lots of shoddy bodged work every where, unfinished work too. Was a real mess, needed too much doing. Not to mention the vendor couldn't tell us what was going to build at the end of the garden just that something was. That was just part of the problems I could go on for ages. I actually felt like crying when we came out. There is nothing else we like in the area we want to buy. I'm just hoping that something will come up soon.

I know toc25. I think the photos always look better as a general rule.

I try and view houses I'm not interested in as in the past they were the ones we wanted. And it's happened again. On paper it didn't seem right, but viewing it changed our minds. Argh still gutted it's sold!

And the ones we've got most excited about have been the biggest disappointments.

    Anyone had anymore viewings?

Were debating reducing already. But not sure if it's a wise move or not? One viewing in 1 week tells me it's overpriced. Need to sell or we can't buy.

I keep saying that to my husband, we need to view stuff in the area we want even if it isn't perfect on paper. You just never know. Pictures can be very deceiving can't they. We are having photos taken Monday morning then will be online by Wednesday. I'm so nervous
Have you had a look what your competition is? I always think that if a house doesn't sell it's over priced. But I suppose if it's in an area that not many people are interested in it could be that too.

We had our photos done today, it could be live on Monday, but just a few things to clarify with the office first. Feeling very nervous about finding a buyer. Our asking price is very close to what we need to move so really hope anyone that sees it thinks it's worth it!

    Ooh exciting! Good luck.

How long did the photos take? I'm dreading it on Monday, I will have been at work all night and have no time to tidy up so I'm relying on my messy husband to tidy up the morning chaos! Ha ha :rotfl: like that will happen :(

Yes, in terms of what's up for sale, we're all the same price. But I think we're all too high.

    I am just so frustrated.

10 viewings, no second viewings and no offers after 8 weeks on the market.

I feel like blaming the estate agent. Whenever I ask them why they think we've had to offers they blame Brexit and the GE which just drives me insane as I think it's such a terrible response from them.

Our contract is 14 weeks so need to put up with them for another month!

I would agree, if that were the case surely they wouldn't be looking at houses at all? Have you asked if the EA is giving them follow up calls for feedback?

The lady was here about an hour, I'd spent the whole day cleaning and hiding clutter (cereal boxes in the tumble dryer :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:). I'd taken all unneccesary toiletries out of the bathroom, left just enough to make it look lived in and then she made me empty it completely anyway, not a toothbrush in sight!
