Anyone else noticing that viewings have slowed down, or is this just where I live (Wales).
I agree. As I've said elsewhere, I don't think the endless speculation over the referendum is helping. Constant comments that an out-vote will wipe x% of house prices. Why would you buy now, if you think you'll snap up a bargain on June 24:rudolf: Sheep, pigs, hens and bees on our Teesdale smallholding :rudolf:0 -
Put our house up monday with a slightly lower price than valued to try and get some interest but no views yet and think we might be in it for the long haul but nothing ventured nothing gained.0

That would mean that a lot of people must think it will be Brexit, counter to what certain polls and a lot of MSM are trying to put across?0 -
we are selling a 3 bed in the north west, went up 2.5 weeks ago at a slightly high price, no interest at all. Dropped the price this week in time for the bank holiday weekend (now in a new price bracket). Hoping to generate some interest, desperate to sell as we have put down a reservation fee on a new build which is due to be completed beginning of August0

Not necessarily. If you want to stay in, and the vote is for stay, you win. If the vote is for leave, you hope to snap up a bargainacious house on June 24, so win anyway:)
I expect/hope we vote to remain. I'm not sure my nerves will stand the ineviatble months (years??) of uncertainty if we vote to leave:rudolf: Sheep, pigs, hens and bees on our Teesdale smallholding :rudolf:0 -

I think watching the EZ implode while we are still attached to it will be more stressful.0 -
I've been wondering if the referendum is putting people off buying as well...
Apparently the last viewer that came loves it, wants to "do some research" about the area and prices of other properties before making an offer... not getting my hopes up yet though!First win (October) - Apple Ipod off a radio competition
November - new nokia mobile phone, £250 electrical voucher (both radio comptitions)
March - 2 cinema tickets to see 27 dresses (radio again!)

Congrats smallholding. fingers crossed it goes well.
I'm also in South WalesWe have been getting 1-2 viewings a week with our new EA
yes..you're absolutely right....the house would be 20k more if there was no pub. The buyers (the ones that fell through) tried to tell us that theyr initial super low offer was because of the pub! Jeeez!
We had a viewing today at 5pm. EA called at 4:20pm to tell us that it had been cancelled. Stressful.
I'm sat here in a gleaming home now (although I do have a basket of clean laundry stuffed in my sons bedroom wardrobe)
I'm staying positive. 2.5 months maternity left and I'm not going to let this get to me...I've done 16 months already, so I guess I'm used to the rollercoaster ride now x0 -
