Apparently they couldn't see their financial advisor, hence the delay, but we'd more or less given up! We did a couple of steps of house buying tango and managed to get the offer up a little, and we've accepted it. Fingers crossed it doesn't all collapse as this completes our chain.
. How is everyone else getting on? Any luck?

Brilliant news!
We are two weeks in since offer acceptance.
Got to complete the PIF and F&F forms today and return to solicitor tomorrow. Still nervous because everything seems a long way off.
Have you found anywhere yet?Ageing is a privilege not everyone gets.

Excellent news :T:T:T
We had a viewing Friday and another on Saturday - should get the feedback tomorrow.
Good Luck everyone0 -
Thanks everyone. All the best to you, and here's hoping this latest round of viewings bring you buyers.
Yes, Clutterfree, we've found somewhere and it's chain free thankfully. We're up sizing so I really can't wait to get in there now. Still a way to go but it felt like we'd never get this from at times.0 -
My viewer didn't turn up. Anyone else had this happen? It's so annoying.0

Yes and I agree it's very annoying and very rude. We had two no shows in one day once and we'd purposefully gone out, had a really crap time owing to some r-sole verbally abusing my wife for no reason, waited in the car for the 2nd viewer to finish, then found out neither had shown up. I wasn't particular pleased that the agent hadn't told us sooner!0 -
How awful! Some people are just rude aren't they0

Gagging order well done!0

Well apparently I have another offer 10k under asking price but I'll take it in the current environment
Fingers crossed it becomes a formal offer I believe it's a cash buyer too0 -
Well done, crafty saver.0
