Sorry to hear that, Crafty. What a mess-around! There's a lot to be said for the Scottish system! It think too many people make offers that they're not serious about following up on. We've definitely had a couple of those but thankfully didn't get as far as accepting and proceeding.

Sounding hopeful for a couple of you anyway!

Got another viewing booked for Saturday, the estate agent said they seemed really excited and have booked an appointment with the estate agents mortgage people as well, which seems hopeful lol!

No feedback from the last 3 viewings as the estate agent can't get hold of any of them, we'll see what happens on Saturday...

    pinkbabe - any interest yet?

bonfirebride - I'd do the same, was looking at somewhere near a club thats now used as a bikers bar in the middle of nowhere, but I was put off as a lot of the stuff is outside and very loud... But if you've never had a problem, I'm sure they'll see that when they come round

Craftysaver - thats so annoying! Here's hoping the next couple like it as well - you need abidding bar between them :-)

  • thanks Fudge - before it went on the market we thought it might go this way with a small bidding war the other house near it did - think I have hit the market at the wrong time  would have been sooner if I hadn't had to spend months evicting the tenant from hell

I couldn't get back on to post but still no viewers. The EA came out on friday and said the property had only been on a week and to stop worrying. I phoned today and the lady from the EA who had come round on friday is on holiday this week the young man I spoke to was rather vague and said it had been matched with 5 people and he would chase them up. He said he would speak to the manger later as he was in a meeting. Am I being to anxious or do you all feel that they could be doing more. The property is on for a good price for the area.

  • got another 5 viewings for the weekend

I've told the agent to update the pictures as an objective friend told me they aren't great and make the house look small so hopefully that will help
