I meant to say in my last post that my EA has had the best January for years in properties going under offer. To back it up I can see on rightmove many of their properties are now under offer. It Definately seems to be the case reasonably priced properties are selling well in my area.0

Not yours though? :rotfl:0

Well I'm back. For those that don't know to get rid of constant posts from house price crashers click on user CP then edit ignore list and add in user names there! I now don't see Crashy posts unless someone quotes....
Anyone having any luck out there? I'm still waiting for someone to buy my house!
Can you explain why you regard someone as a ''crashist'' simply because they try to inform people who have failed to achieve a successful sale whilst have had their house on the market for an unfeasible length of time and gone through numerous estate agents, that their house is overpriced?0 -

I am merely referring to those people who constantly turn threads into 'sell everything before houses are worthless', those people who constantly post links to unreliable sources about house price falls, those people who constantly remark about houses being overpriced despite knowing nothing about the area or circumstance, those people who constantly comment about offering 50% of asking price, but even if you do that you are still overpaying.
Surely even you can understand that now?0 -
ours has been back on the market now for 3 weeks and not had even a sniff of interest.
I just accepted a new job with better money, So I'm waiting for my start date to come through, once that is done then I think we will consider a price drop0 -
The fact that it is easy to find links to articles about house price falls show how much sentiment has changed, that is kind of the point of posting them, hoping people will just pause before offering too much, or pause and consider if their asking price is really realistic.......0

Best of luck hmd. If it's a fair price it has every chance of selling, assuming house is sound and in an ok area of course!0

Last year? Is this "fake news" or real?0 -
Mickyg sounds promising about your EA.
hmd hope it all comes together for you.
I had a chat to Dad today and he says EAs in the area we came from (central Southern England) are waaay more dynamic than those in this area. Its the wrong way around really with the housing market being slower here.0
