We do that all the time too. Can't think of anything in the street that would put buyers off even viewing the house.0 -
Thought I could join in.
Had four lots of valuations done over the weekend to cover our bases, all came back with the same number, so choice of agent was pretty hard, as they all seemed pretty good. So in the end, chose the same as you do with wine, the 2nd cheapest!
So agent now out in the week for photos etc... And hopefully house up on the market by the weekend.
Now it's off to trawl through Rightmove and the high street agents to find the right place to move to
Good luck to everyone with their sales0 -
Good luck to you!0

That isn't great but not surprising in my experience of estate agents.0

Well I'm back. For those that don't know to get rid of constant posts from house price crashers click on user CP then edit ignore list and add in user names there! I now don't see Crashy posts unless someone quotes....
Anyone having any luck out there? I'm still waiting for someone to buy my house!0 -
Good luck everyone.0

Our buyer pulled out two weeks before our moving date so I now find myself on this site! We have had 6 viewings in 8 days, two offers - both less than the original price the original buyer had offered which is just so frustrating because all our finances were then worked out around the price we thought we had sold it at. We are holding off responding to the best offer, to see what the other viewers thought, but we do have to look at how we may be able to make it work. This best offer has come from an investor who can move quickly so all the surveys etc could be picked up and we may only lose a few weeks in terms of time to move, but we don't want to jump too quickly! We are at the bottom of the chain, with just two above us, both of whom are prepared to wait for us, so instincts are saying wait it out for now...
It has been SO stressful!0 -
Well done Mickey.
Jox Bad luck and Good luck!
MrsCP fingers crossed!
Nothing doing here.0 -
That's good news Jox, I hope to see you soon on the exchange thread!
Mrs CP that's a lot of viewings so seems sensible to wait to see what the others thought. But equally you want to get on with things. Tough decision, hope you find out very soon. To get another offer so soon shows you have a property people want which is good news.
Smallholdingsister sorry to hear no luck yet. Hopefully once Doris and the usual February cold weather is out the way the market will spring into life!0
