Well took the plunge and paid cc1 70.00 off today. So will be scouring my money boxes for change to top up my bank act until next week now.:o

So happy won't be charged interest, interest free period runs out 1st June. So far this year cleared 2320.00 and means PAYDBX 2016 now exactly half way there. How amazing would it be not to have any debt? Motivated and setting myself next challenge over weekend.:p

Todays dilemma neighbour having a sales party this evening
    1. Do I go and not buy.
    2. Avoid going altogether as feel obliged to buy but then I would have to go out and spend money.

Really just want a quiet night. Awkward !

    Up to 10/16 SFD.:D

Today will be a SFD, need to take some clothes back to sainsbobs, unfortunately 25% off clothes today. so may not just come away with a refund.
I do need few food items but prefer to pop in |Aldee on way home and Sawdust for bunnykins from HB.

Have a great weekend, be good now :rotfl:

An unexpected NSD yesterday as I felt completely wiped out after work and just went straight home. Fell asleep really early so up early today. Been to the gym, bank, supermarket, loccitane to get a free box of minis courtesy of Martin's email this week and currently on my way to pick up my prescription. Then I suppose I better go to work. A lovely sunny day here, hope everyone else also has the sun.

    Helloooooo!

Sorry I've been totally MIA lately.
Been doing lots of overtime at work lately. I'm saving up to pay installments on a course I am starting in October. I could have taken out another credit card but no, I am totally and utterly determined to pay for it all by myself so I will be very frugal and taking on as much overtime as I can physically manage. I've worked out that I need to earn at least an extra £70 a month but I want to earn more than that so I can stash some for the holidays so I can take the kids out.
No idea of my NSDs because I haven't been tracking them which is silly I know but I will try harder next month.

    Evening Turtles :D :hello:
We're onto the final stretch for May now. Just one more week and a bank holiday weekend to get through and we've survived. I feel really worn out and busy but there's loads going on.
Apple - pleased to hear that you're on the mend.
Calling - congrats on the payment. I wouldn't worry about missing that party you know. I would be obliged to buy something if I were going.
GSR - well done with the savings. Things feel better if they aren't paid for on credit...

    So today for me:
Kind thing - letting some Year 11's come and revise during my free lesson
    Frugal - leftovers for dinner
Thing that made me happy - a personalised crochet hook as a gift from a Year 11.
I can't believe they will be going in a couple of weeks - I love my Year 11's and will miss them so much.

I think I'm on roughly 14 nsds this month. I have got a bit confused with this month. We had sats week n other things have made this month feel extremely long.

Cat glad ur first exam went well, I don't know how u cope with months of tests, one week is enough for my nerves.

Calling u r doing so well.

I have been thinking this week about injecting more fun into life. I don't want to just look forward to summer/ weekends etc.

Dizzyblnd let us know what fun you come up with I need some in my life.

Thanks guys been emptying piggy today to cover my bills for rest of May.

Went out with daughter and gs. No spending by me woo hoo, treated to lunch.

Been given pots one a strawberry container with strawberry plant. Help never been successful with them, any advice welcome.

Not done much today painted couple fence posts and had a walk.

Didn't do the party last night, popped to the pub for a drink instead.

Need to start decluttering downstairs before I think about decorating.
    Do a bit tomorrow.

    Evening all,

Today has been a spendy day as I visited a large discount place and bought cat food for next month. I will pay it off my credit card when I get paid next week.

    Not much else to report.

Today I am happy because I had a lovely walk with the dogs and a friend in the countryside.

My frugal tip is to take food and drink everywhere with you. I took a drink with me but didn't take food as I thought I wouldn't be out that long but I ended up at the golden arches for lunch.

I was kind because I have let lots of people out at traffic junctions.

    Hey Turtles

First chance to say hello today. Worked a party where the volume was so loud my ears are still ringing. But that has given me some PAD funds for the first time in ages.

Frugal things - was glad to see my Mr T vouchers arrived today. Only £2.50 but will put it towards YS things to stretch it.

Had fun playing with DS this afternoon laying a chalk trail of arrows up the street on fences and pavement for him to follow and find me. Then it was his turn then DH. Got some funny looks but oh well.

Anyway off again for now :)

Another NSD here. Took dd to dance, to give dh a break, and the driving has really made my wrists hurt. Humph. I Have taken to drawing on myself in biro when part of me hurts, so I can get an idea of where it is!

Today's happy: a friend of dh gave us 2 ripe papaya = 4 yummy desserts with pl yog.

Today's kindness: taking dd to dance.

Today's frugal tip: I quote tmess - always take food out with you. A small pot of nuts can help me last for hours more.
