May the NST Force be with you
Ninja Saving Turtles May Challenge
Ninja Saving Turtles May Challenge
We are already into the fifth month of the year Turtles. The days are getting longer; people are more into socialising on these light nights; and some of us just fancy a treat to ourselves now the weather has picked up. We must not lose sight of our goals Turtles, and not allow ourselves to be sidetracked by the transition into summer. We need to focus, and make a plan to move forward successfully this month.
NST: May Rules
- The challenge runs from 1st to 31st May 2016
- You will aim for 16 NSDs
- Budget the month ahead and pay your debts off at the beginning of the month. Live off what is left.
- Plan your social activities. As there are two bank holidays this month I suggest a maximum of 3 activities. Try not to be impulsive.
- Take your lunch to work every single day
- Donate time or money to the charity of your choice
- Try and make an extra £50 over the month, either by decluttering and selling, crafting or wombling
It's time to work out what we really need and what we actually just want. Together turtles, we can show that life is there to be enjoyed and you don't need to spend a lot of money to do that.
- Every day post one thing that has made you happy today.
- Post one kind thing that you have done for someone else.
- Post one frugal/moneysaving tip; budget recipe or bargain to share with the other turtles
The force is strong in us Turtles, and together we can get through May.
