I'm so pleased for your good news MrsT!
I'm sure hubby must be chuffed to bits.

Try not to worry too much about your bad news, these things are often a warning to keep an eye, but end up being ok in the end. Good luck with that.

    Woo for you!

Thanks jiblets! He's very chuffed! His little swimmers got there first time we tried so apart form being happy he'd dead proud too :rotfl:

I'm going to call the docs tomorrow and get an appointment in the morning if I can... I have a funeral to attend in the afternoon...

Uhmmm any one know when I should start expecting morning sickness by btw? So far not been a problem but mum suffered so I'm guessing that I won't escape it...

Congratulations and best wishes for the coming months MrsTine :j

About your smear test. PM if you want to chat at all. Having been there and done that I'm a good listener!
I'd also recommend once you get the appointment to call them and tell them you are pg. Might save you a trip to the hospital if they don't recommend treatment whilst pg or they might say to go anyway so that they can monitor the situation.

Thanks Shelly - it's not as bad as I feared as in my reaction... I had an abnormal smear a couple of years ago and they just re-did it after 6 months and it was normal... Since moved surgery and county which might explain why they decided to refer me...
The surgery doctor called me late afternoon to explain the results to a degree... his words were that there aren't any "abnormal" cells but some that aren't "as normal as they should be" lol... even he could see the flaw in that but I know what he meant ;)

I did air the possibility that I might be pregnant and he said to definitely let them know as they would more than likely decide to wait until after baby had arrived if that is the case. He'd think it would take a LOT more than a few iffy cells before they would risk damaging a pregnancy :)
I will keep you all posted though! Haven't told hubby as he's so happy about the BFP and i don't want to take that away from him... :) I think he'd worry a lot more than I am because I've been there once before IYKWIM
Ah well - gonna pee on another stick in the morning and then call the docs :)
Then I have to go to a funeral unfortunately (somewhat unfortunate timing...) but I'll have a co-conspirator there - one of my best mates who's had 2 kids and is very up on all the things to do and eat and what not :)
And I had to tell SOMEONE from real life and I know she's delighted and will help me through all the icky yucky and emotional stuff...

    Congratulations and good luck MrsTine!

I had what I thought were some ov pains when I woke up this morning (I've had them before), so I did a test when I got up, but the test said neg!? So, can you have pains without actually ovulating?

    Confused

    Thanks pinkpig and Shelly :)

Pinkpig - I don't think I know when the ov took place in all honesty... I know when it SHOULD have been but I never had anything I can honestly say made me think: "aha! ovulation pains!" - I did have what I am darned certain was implantation pains though ;) Caught me by surpise at the time and was only next morning I thought it might be implantation pains... crossed my fingers and voila ;)

    Hey girls
Ok used a web site (not sure if I am allowed to mention which site) to try to calculate when I would be ov. Basically AF arrived 30th August, have a 28 day cycle and the site I used said that my fertile days are 10th-15th September. Is this really right? Am I fertile for this long?

I chart my temps on fertilityfriend.com (their free version is adequate but I think you get a trial of all their whizzy bits when you first register if I remember rightly). They state that it's not an exact science, so to give you an idea of when ov will be they highlight about 5 days around the anticipated date. So my AF arrived Wed 28 Sept, and they reckon I'll be ov'ing sometime between next Monday-Friday (my calcs reckon on next Wed/Thurs for ov). It gives you a good idea of when you should be BDing good and proper!
