Well that's MY estimate... it might change this afternoon as I have a docs appointment at 16:30...

Is that just to have a test at the doc's for confirmation? Just wondering as I have got to wait until 22.09.08 until I can go for my booking in appointment

  • Hi, another newbie here.

We’ve been TTC for 3 months (I know not really very long at all) but so far nothing has happened. I honestly didn’t realise how emotionally hard this TTC malarkey would be. For the last few months I have tried not to think about it too much but when I’m in the 2ww period waiting for AF, which I currently am, becoming pregnant is all I can think about. I question every twinge and ache and wonder whether it is a ‘symptom’ and really wish that I’d taken more notice of my body before TTC so I could recognise normal aches and pains through my cycle. Last Monday I did feel nauseous for most of the morning, it kept coming on in waves, but since then nothing and as I’ve been feeling extremely emotional yesterday and today I think I’m probably suffering from PMT and AF will be on her way to visit next week:sad: !

Sorry that has been a bit of rant but I do feel better getting it out of my system.

Congratulations to those with recent BFPs and sending lots of babydust to the rest of you.
  • Oops, double post!
  • Congrats MrsT!!! Wow! great news! you clever thing you!!! :D

Got some news of my own today.. I am currently a temp hoping to go permanent, but wasn't sure when this would be.

I called a meeting with my boss and she informs me that it's probably not going to happen until at least this time next year.
    *sniff*

If we start TTC in February, I call fall right away and not being perm, means that I will get no maternity cover.

Financially, we would be okay, great, in fact, but I love my job and would want to return to it after I have a child.

I could have 3 /4 months off, and state that I want to come back to my job, however, as temp, they aren'y obliged to honour that...

I think we might have to put our plans on hold for A YEAR.
feeling really blue now... I was so looking forward to Christmas.
    *sniff*

I hope you are all well and happy today.. babydust!!! *sprinkles*
