AF came today which I am quite glad of. It now means I can begin the Clear Blue Trial pack which has been gathering dust in our spare bedroom.
P.S Shelly have you began your trial yet?
P.S.S For anyone who lives near a Lidl they have digital thermometers for £1.49 and they are fab. We bought two last night. I have never done the whole BBT thing before but might as well give it a whirl.

Hope everyone is well and behaving!
Welcome to newbies and congrats to those with their BFP :j

Exactly the same as what happened with me! The 'positive' readings were seemingly random and didn't correspond to any other method of checking for OV like the sticks and temping.0 -

Mine too is gathering dust in the spare bedroom. Haven't started mine yet as AF isn't due for another few days yet.
Good luck with it.
Let me know if its easier than it looks! :rotfl::heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:0 -
Thanks for all the replies about EWCM. I think nothing is TMI on this thread to be honest! lol!
Fingers crossed for you FE, it will be a right nuisance if you have to wait till end of October but hopefully you won't have to.
I am going to go for my blood test on Monday coming (8th) so fingers crossed everything is working ok. If not, I will cross that bridge when it comes to it.
Thanks for the comment, FE, about your fertility consultant not being worried about you not having EWCM all the time because when you hear about other people getting it you do worry if you are not getting it, don't you! I am pretty sure I have had this before but never really thought about it and now I am thinking about it I am worried that it isn't appearing now!
This symptom spotting is a nightmare! You really notice things that have probably been happening all along but now they are magnified x100! And you really really notice things that are not happening! That is worse for sure.
Love, hugs and babydust to all

I had a look from that link but I can't find the thermometers. Are they the ones you can use orally and the other way?:o
I don't know that I would get on with doing it "down south" but nice to know the option is there if I wanted to do it that way. I have a Lidl near me so can pop down and get one. I have heard that down south is the best way but it must still be quite accurate from your mouth?
I shouldn't really be a wuss considering I am ttc but must confess that I am!:o

Hey girls
Hope you are all having a good day.
Im confused...................again I hear you say! HeHe!!
Ok used a web site (not sure if I am allowed to mention which site) to try to calculate when I would be ov. Basically AF arrived 30th August, have a 28 day cycle and the site I used said that my fertile days are 10th-15th September. Is this really right? Am I fertile for this long?
This is all very very confusing! Or maybe Im just not that bright! Lol!
Linz xoxoxIts hard to wait around for that something you know may never happen, but its harder to give up when you know its everything you ever wanted.........
People tell me Im going the wrong way..............when its simply a way of my own!0 -

Tell me about it. Last night I noticed my boobs were sore and my first reaction is, "maybe I am pregnant after all!" Of course I get sore boobs at this time every month.
One month in, and I'm sooo sick of it. I want to get pregnant now, less because I want a baby, and more because I want to stop ttc.0 -

On my site (mymenstrualcycles.com) it shows me days of varying fertility. I think it gives me two fertile days and a few slightly fertile days. The sites normally presume that you have a 14day luteul phase (that's the amount of time between you ovulating and AF arriving) and not everyone's is the same. I used ovulation sticks the first two months and compared it with the website. They matched both months, so I saved myself the money on the sticks then.:money:Am not witty enough to put something cool and informative here:o0 -
Well ladies... we have some good news... and some not so good but not sure how bad...
Today AF should be due so although I've had odd gurglings that I thought was AF I had a feeling... I've been bursting into tears for no apparent reason for the last couple of days - totally not like me! And just felt... not me...
I bought the Clear Blue digital - not wanting ANY doubts :rotfl: this one actually SAYS if you're pregnant or not... no half lines...
Well Ladies..
BFP:T :j  :j :T
The not so good news is that today I also found out my smear from a couple of months ago came back with a small amount of "not normal, but not abnormal" cells... *sigh* Doc has referred me to the Colposcopy department for further tests or some such... obviously ANY chance of them doing any tests is NIL if it might affect the pregnancy...
So it's kinda mixed news...
Haven't told husband yet as he's not home from work yet... But looking forward to telling him when he gets here
Will test again tomorrow - JUST to be sure
So a HUGE sprinkle of baby dust for everyone trying to concieve!!!DFW Nerd #025DFW no more! Officially debt free 2017 - now joining the MFW's!
