    Gosh I didn't read that into the posts at all.

    I took it as fingers burnt with a few free loaders & chancers.

    I'm afraid I read it the same as missbiggles, (and mentioned it in my posts ), but became aware that I might have misunderstood. The emotive language didn't help :(.

    I have ASD tendencies myself, so do misunderstand sometimes

    Imagine someone holding forth on biology whose only knowledge of the subject is the Book of British Birds, and you have a rough idea of what it feels like to read Richard Dawkins on theology: Terry Eagleton

    I also read it the same way. In fact I think you did say you were not a "people person" cba to check, but I think you did. We are what we are, but what we are affects how we see the world and how we judge others, that is inevitable.

    That's how I read it too.

    Also, I think someone who wasn't a people person, wouldn't even go out and try and socialise.

    What I read from the comments from PN in those posts in that link is that she likes going out with people she chooses to go out with, but can't help it if she doesn't like the company of the people they bring with them that she didn't expect to be there, and that she finds it tedious, (communicating with those other people,) but she does try to make an effort.

    Funny how people read into things in different ways.

    Well, it's not me, by that I mean that I upset people without knowing. No clue whatsoever. It's not that I don't do people; it's that people don't do me. :)

    With respect, that doesn't mean it is not you, it means you are unaware of it, not that it is not you. It is a perspective, but not the only perspective.

    Well, I think it's great that she goes out and tries in the first place.

    Anyhow, enough of people trying to pick holes in people's characters. (Not just you, I mean everybody) :)

    I agree Georgie.

    I think this thread should be left to drop down the board now.

    The upshot is that people should be allowed to be what they want to be, without being judged.
    You didn't, did you? :rotfl::rotfl:
