I have just downloaded SP1 and it says burn to disk?
Does this mean it is a clean install of windows 7 and i will lose everything on my laptop?
I don't want to re install windows 7

I've done a couple of W7 installs over the last week, both installs had updates that took over 6 hours, just leave it running m8 !0

I did a Windows 7 fresh install last week, took about three days to finally download and install all the updates. I did try the fixes in post 8 but found they did not work, so I did yet another fresh install and then three days later all was done.0
