Arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.
Bought a £10 meal deal thingy from the supermarket. yes I know but better than actions mans usual saturday night tea "takeout"!!!
I have just done battle with a sodding shepherds pie. The plastic did not want to come off around edges. So cut the lip off the tray to get rid of. It was not going to get the better of me :rotfl:
I think I need to be employed by food manufactures to test the opening of their packets. As I am not good at it :rotfl:
Right back to cooking tea or as action man calls it dinner.
hope everyone has a good evening
Yours

((WaS))
I've been productive today. Finally got around to the cupboard of doom, then built some furniture. I did mess up though. While I was focusing on lining up the parts I was screwing together, I knelt on the bag of parts and drove a nail into my knee. It went pretty far in and I had to pull it out. Now my knee hurts.
Now, a Christmas question which I guess also ties into my insecurities a bit. I have a family member a who has 2 kids, and her sister, b also has 2 Her sister is also the favourite and their parents really noticeably favour the sister's kids. So, to the presents - I spend about £20 each on them and this year I got really lucky with presents for b's kids and got them one present each, both presents in the sale. I couldn't find anything in the sale for a's son though, so bought him 2 smaller presents which add up to £20. Thing is, next to the presents for b's kids, it looks pretty rubbish. Normally, I'd just think they got the same spent on them so, that's it, but I was the kid that wasn't the favourite and I remember how rubbish it felt to watch the favourite get the better presents. So do I add another small gift for him so it looks a little better?Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0 -
((((WaS)))) It's not your fault!! I hope you get some rest soon and that the emotions calm down a bit.
Code, depending on their ages, kids don't seem to understand the value of money so the kid with 2 presents may well feel like they've done loads better cos they've got more. You've obviously put thought into the presents and I'm sure they'll appreciate that.0 -
I agree with Izadora......it kind of depends on what age they are.
Also, it depends on how much you think a's child will like the two things you've got them. That's what really matters, rather than how many or how much. Also, will they all be together when they open them? If they'll be in their own homes, they won't really notice, will they?
I wonder why the parents favour one lot of grandchildren so much?(I just lurve spiders!)

Hi.
Tried the shoes on in the shop and they were too narrow. I got a refund but it was upsetting.
Cue long slow march around Merry Hill on a Saturday during the run up to Christmas.
I ordered wider shoes online to be delivered and I have a new pair of cheap loafers.
Sorry. It may seem shallow, but well fitted shoes are hard to come by all of a sudden, all my old (and expensive) shoes, which I liked no longer fit me and I have little choice over the styles which fit.
I have shelves of shoes and only three pairs fit. I'm just going to sulk for a while. Don't know what I'm doing, but doing it anyway... :huh:0 -

They probably won't suit you, but Hotter do a few styles in EE and a very few in EEE.
The Shake style is like a MaryAnn style, in EE and EEE and a variety of colours, and they do a walking boot in EE in a red colour.
They do a few heeled shoes in EE too, as well as flats.(I just lurve spiders!)

Don't be put off by the name of this site.
They do EE, EEE, and lots more Es! EEEE and upwards!
Don't know what sort you want, but if you trawl through the boring styles, there are one or two that you might like.
