Life is not going well for me.

Diagnosed with breast cancer and had surgery. Result shows more surgery needed.

    It's really hard for me.

Lost my soulmate so life is empty.

Sorry to hear that. Hoping your treatment/surgery is a success. They make them tough up in the North East so that can only count in your favour 💪

So much love to you Torry! Anto is right though, we make em tough up here.

Hope the extra surgery goes as smoothly as such things can.

Surgery was fine. Waiting to see the oncologist about chemotherapy and radiotherapy.

Glad the surgery went OK Torry hope everything else works out. Yes the heat is tough. I was in hospital for my first IV immunosuppressants this week, since the previous pill based ones weren't working out, they had me reduce the dose twice and eventually told me to stop altogether as the blood tests kept giving bad results. The specialist nurses were saying a lot of people are thinking they were having relapses right now but it was actually the heat.

A long time ago, either on this topic or part 2 before the pandemic I said I had bought an electric piano and wanted to learn. That never happened, being hospitalized for what turned out to be MS, the struggle to get the diagnosis confirmed and then COVID closing everythiing meant it just sat in my spare room being ignored for years. Well, quite by chance I found a teacher a few months ago so am having lessons at last and it's VERY HARD 🤣 . Currently I've got the music from the Hovis advert to practice, the right hand is OK but the left needs a lot of work!

Great to hear of progress for you both, Torry Quine & Onomatopoeia, really hope you both do well with health & music improving!

Very best wishes to you both, & all the other humming birds who only drop in here occasionally, it would be so good to get this thread lively again, perhaps when we're not floored by the heat and usual British sunshine & showers returns, we might see a few more familiar names.

On a positive note, having had all last year's sunflowers accidentally driven over & destroyed, this year the first one is just starting to open. 🌻
