Feet always look much worse when you look down at them.

    .

I always think it's strange how so many people hate feet.

I don't mind feet. (Assuming they aren't pungent, of course!).

What's annoying is that my feet are quite nice. Once you get to the ankles, though, it all turns ugly, so 99% of the time the feet are covered up!

    Hahahahahahahahahaha!

Grumpy Cat has made a film!

    It's on NOW!

    :rotfl:

Edit...Hang on, they're referring to GrumpyCat as 'she'!

    Surely GrumpyCat's a boy?

Edit edit. Urghhhhhhhhhhh! It's an awful film!

And I refuse to believe that GrumpyCat is a girl!

    Where's the remote?

    How're your piles, pyxis?

I am slowly working through mine (accompanied by Kung Fu Panda). Just set up a payment for my end of interest free period.

I feel like there is an end in sight somewhere. Could even deal with it all by Christmas; that would be a Christmas miracle.
:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.

I'm currently deciding whether I can be bothered getting the Christmas decs out of the loft and putting them up - it's today or not all all.
The displacement activities have even included changing some fuses in my car and giving it a wash. As avoidance mechanisms go that's fairly impressive. Didn't get as far as hoovering though - that would have been a step too far.
All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.

No pile work. Since yesterday I've felt quite rough again. Have been in bed.

Had a fight with Mr CP this morning. Someone in here, (ono maybe?) asked if tea and I could talk with anyone outside this board about our job woes. We'll, the answer for me is no, because nobody wants to hear it. One of the major problems of being the highest earner is that we can't afford for me to quit. I had a bit of a meltdown this morning about the whole thing and Mr CP shouted at me because, I guess he's sick of hearing it. So working from home even though I have meetings scheduled for today because I'm too emotional. Turns out putting makeup on is surprisingly difficult if you keep crying it off again. The one good thing in all of this is: tiny ED penguin At least I haven't started purging again. end penguin

In good news I have an interview for possibly interesting job with the ridiculously long commute, so fingers crossed. The old place might also have some positions available to interview for soon too, so I might not be stuck in this hellhole forever.

Ah code, what a rubbish start to the day/week. Hope your day improves. Have everything crossed that one of these leads turns into an exciting new job, and that Mr CP steps up with the support.

WaS - am thinking of you and your friend xx

Have got a cold and am feeling very sorry for myself.

Hoovering is always a step too far! If I get the vacuum cleaner out it means there's something I desparately want to avoid doing!

Code, best of luck with the interview. Even if nothing comes of it at least it shows that there are jobs out there and that they're interested in your skills.

With Mr CP is it a case of falling into the stereotypical male trait of wanting to fix things? I know that IzHe tends to lose patience with me if there's something wrong and he can't make it better, which is very annoying when I just want someone to give me a hug and tell me it'll all be fine but it's coming from a nice place.

Ginger - I've got really wide feet and find that Evans are a bit overpriced but generally quite comfortable and they do quite a few shoes/boots in EEE. The only thing to remember with boots would be that they're quite wide fitting on the calf as well.

Dorothy Perkins and New Look both have wide ranges as well and I can generally find something which fits me.
