I love the little splodge of a white tache and the white tips to her feet!!
Even though I still see them regularly, they're only at my mum's, I miss having cats around all the time.0 -
Welcome back Melly! Give my little princess a cuddle for me! (and Alan).
Hope today is going better, Code. It's normal panic when in a new job, we get used to things even if they aren't pleasant. Give it a bit more time.
That's an exciting if slightly scary, Ono! It can't be worse than considering redundancy is possible though so it's a good thing! You can learn to manage people, I managed a whole staff team as the softest person you could ever meet. I felt like I was winging it most of the time but then so does everyone else so it worked out fine!Until one has loved an animal a part of one's soul remains unawakened - Anatole France

The zip-wire was awesome!
And I didn't feel a bit scared! It was very safe.....a tight harness and two thick carabiners onto the wire.
It was so good that I went straight back and did another one!
Also we were right at the very top of the highest mountains around Kotor, so we had a fantastic view!
Got back to town and had lots of icecream!
Then went to the hotel and used their Turkish Bath!
More singing in a minute!(I just lurve spiders!)

You are so brave, Pyxis! I would have had my eyes shut as I screamed! Well done, I'm impressed!Until one has loved an animal a part of one's soul remains unawakened - Anatole France

TV Well today was a little better but I am still not sure this was a good idea. I've realised that what I really want to do is run a doggy day care. Long term goals.

Can it be a doggy day care that takes Gitdogs? The one my trainer runs has a no bull breed rule.
I did think about a dog walking business when I was made redundant but I'm not brave enough to be self-employed.
Glad today was a bit better. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

I would take gitdog no problem. I want to give gitdog a hug and a belly rub. I It's something I need to plan a bit I think because I'd need some money to startup, and some money to live on until it took off, if it ever did. I'd need to think about premises as my house is too small. I'm thinking of a canine behaviour course on distance learning while I think about it. I'm not sure I'm brave enough.Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0

Having seen the amount of work and time my trainer has put into setting up their facility (they also run puppy classes, 1/1 sessions and various workshops as the daycare is falling off a bit). I'd possibly look more into dog-sitting/boarding at home to start with An ex-colleague is booked up for months doing that. Mr Code and DA dog permitting, of course.
Nothing wrong with doing a bit of homework, as the demand must vary between areas.
And you can borrow Gitdog to practice on any time you like.:DAll shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Honestly, it wasn't brave, because I really didn't feel at all scared, or even apprehensive! It all felt very safe indeed.
I felt a lot more scared when I abseiled off the top of an office block, several years ago, at least until I got going. Getting over the parapet at the top was a brown-trouser job! That was brave! This wasn't!
Code,am really pleased you're starting to settle in. Perhaps when you've got used to things, you can make the job your own.
By the way, did you get a good send-off when you left the other place? And a nice gift?(I just lurve spiders!)
