  • How exciting Pyxis! Now I am doubly jealous! On the Via Ferratta the other week, there was a picture of a zipwire, but apparently they've taken it out, so I was disappointed.

Ab Sailing is our next thing, it looks fun!

Im glad today went better for you code :)

  • Hi guys.

Sorry I've been MIA for quite some time.

    Really struggling this morning.

Every time I shut my eyes to drop off to sleep I feel like I'm seeing things and am hearing voices. I'm aware it's all in my mind cause as soon as I open my eyes it stops. But the second I shut them to go back to sleep (probably am asleep tbh!), it all starts again. It's freaking me out tbh.

I woke up shaking out of pure fright a little while ago. I'm so tired so need another couple of hours sleep but don't know how to combat this.

I hope you're all doing ok! Sorry I've been gone for so long xx

    rj,

Maybe you need to see the GP if your medicine needs upping.

I ran out of medication (again) last week, due to lack of money. I also had an increase in suicidal thoughts and images. They have stopped once I picked up my prescription.

  • I've not been on any meds for a few years. I've been ok without generally. Just have my off days.

Managed to get another hour of sleep in.

Was so bizarre. I must've been asleep when it was happening but I felt awake. So scary xx

I'm on my phone so I can't link to it.

    It means you're very tired.
 Don't know what I'm doing, but doing it anyway...

Thanks! I'll have a look now. I was tired but not anymore than normal. Weird! Fingers crossed it doesn't happen again! Xx
  • Hope today is a bit better again, Code.

Welcome back rjhammond! People have hallucinations for all sorts of reasons, a lot of them harmless. As Ginger says (Hi Ginger!) hallucinations relating to sleep are very common, particularly if you have been anxious recently or are extra tired. If it was happening to me (and I wasn't prone to psychosis) I would observe it for a couple of days and then visit my GP if it happened again. If you have any doubts about the stability of your mental health I would go to the GP straight away.

WW, have you looked at prescription prepayment certificates. More upfront, which can be an issue, but cheaper in the long run.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.
  • Hi waves! Hope you're doing well!

I think I was in a bit of a mess this morning because I didn't know the cause of it. It was rather scary. Like I was convinced there was someone in my house and I could hear them talking but I couldn't move.. It was proper scary. I'll keep an eye on it and call my gp if it happens again :) now I've got up and been out and about I feel fine.. I just don't want it happening again!! Xx
