YAY!!!! :j
I'm so pleased it was all okay, I hope you have a fabulous weekend and can enjoy it with that weight off your mind.
It's great that it was all so quick. The government directives for fast-tracking these gynae problems are working incredibly well. One week from finding the lump to getting all the tests and the treatment done.
If only it were as good in other departments, particularly Mental Health.:((I just lurve spiders!)

Great news pyxis, and sounds like a positive experience overall (if that makes sense - I mean in terms of the speed and level of service - not having to bother in the first place!)0

Yay, Pyxis! Good to hear you're in the clear! :j
I've been having a look through my OU record. I didn't realise it but I only have one more module to do for my degree, and sadly, this will be my last degree. The first one waaaaay back now was funded through grants, but I enjoyed studying so much I carried on paying for them (it was only £400 per module which was easily affordable through OUSBA, and before mum needed quite as much help I had enough free time to squeeze in two modules per year sometimes).
Now, of course, with the fee changes they're almost £3,000 per module! I was fortunate in that I started this degree just in time to qualify for transitional fees, so I'm paying the old fees until the end of this degree. But there's no way I'll be able to afford to carry on afterwards.
They're offering postgrad loans now and the OU has just started offering an MA in Creative Writing, so I might see whether I can qualify for that in year or so.
Anyhoo, so I looked through my record. A couple of iffy modules due to ill-timed exams have brought my record down a bit but I am guaranteed a 2.1 at a minimum (providing I don't fail the final module), and I can still get that First that I want. It's a free choice as to what module I take, so I'm trying to think what I'd have the easiest time with. I'm leaning towards Philosophy, as the module description is similar to a previous module so I should get on well with that. She would always like to say,
Why change the past when you can own this day?0 -

Hahahahahahahahahah!
After the hospital, I stopped off at Sainsbob's and got two raspberry eclairs, and a can of gin and pink grapefruit, and have scoffed/drunk the lot!
Have got anchovies, Cambozola cheese and King Prawn Makhani for din-dins, with a bottle of Porter!
Oh yes, and some pomegranate seeds and fresh coconut pieces!

OH YUM! A well deserved treat day, Pyxis! You know, I have never tried pink grapefruit in anything. Is it like ordinary grapefruit? On the subject of fruit I have discovered persimmon and now I can't stop eating them. They are very healthy, just a bit expensive but well worth trying.Until one has loved an animal a part of one's soul remains unawakened - Anatole France

Pink grapefruit is like ordinary grapefruit but can be a bit less sharp. The cans of Gin and Pink must have other stuff in as well, because when I tried making my own from gin and separate pink grapefruit juice, it didn't taste the same.
