I do a quick check over whilst showering, so if that counts, then yeah I have, but I don't do the whole routine you're meant to do - http://www.breastcancer.org/symptoms/testing/types/self_exam/bse_steps
I was going to say that I'm probably quite lazy about it, but it isn't that, I just don't really think about it.
Very apt name SJ!0 -
I have to admit that I'm rubbish at remembering to check my breasts, I promise to do it tonight though.0

Done my breasts
Good luck for your appt, Pyxis!
elsien - this sounds like a 'you might break our kettle' fear which hasn't been thought through. Would a subscription from your mob (which I appreciate might just be you) towards a new kettle solve the problem? Loads of kettles in the kitchen will disadvantage THEM, as well as you! Perhaps all they need is to know that there's enough money in the pot to replace equipment if it breaks...........Ex board guide. Signature now changed (if you know, you know).0 -
Checking out my boobs - sounds like a job for Mr CP :rotfl:
Going to penguin this bit because it mentions death I'm probably genetically coded for cancer - both of my mum's parents and 2 of her siblings died of cancer, and my paternal grandmother and all but one of my dad's 5 brother's died of cancer. My sister has also had cancer, so it's something I keep an eye out for. I have regular smears and check my boobs for abnormalities, just because the odds are not in my favour. Better to catch these things early if you can. Hopefully, I'll never need to worry about it though. end penguinEu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0 -

Good luck Pyxis - sending out happy thoughts.
Ok, Team WaS. I have a mission. It's a family member's 18th birthday soon and I thought I'd pop a list of advice and things I wish I'd known l when I was 18. Trying to keep it as upbeat as possible, so any input would be great.Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0
