Luckily you have plenty of time to read up on what you need to do. Take it one bit at a time.
Make a note on your calendar, electronic or otherwise, so you don't miss the appeal deadline.
Then read up some of the successful complaint letters. Pick a few that you like and plagiarise them as you see fit. We don't need to see it. When you think it looks OK, send it to the email address posted earlier.
Then make sure you understand what you need to do with the initial template appeal. Send online exactly as it is around day 25, or send first class post (NOT special or recorded) from a Post Office and make sure you get a free proof of posting.
Tell all your family and friends what has happened, spread the word on social media what a nasty bunch of scammers ASsociated DAiries have employed to scam genuine customers. Tell the local press.
Get the word out to everyone that will listen.
Please get everyone you know to read this and sign the petition.

Just an update. Got this reply from Asda CEO's office.
Good Morning xxxxxx

Thank you for your email to our CEO Andy Clarke. My name is xxx, as part of his team I will be responding on his behalf.
Having investigated the matter further due to you parking within a parent a child bay the ticket has been issued correctly. By parking within the bay you have breached the advertised terms and conditions of the car park.
I do believe that there is sufficient displays of the terms within the car park. By parking within the bay you are potentially preventing a parent with a child from parking within the bay.
I appreciate entirely that a large amount was spent within the store on the occasion however the contravention goes against the whole purpose of the regulations.
Due to the above reasons I will not be cancelling the Parking Charge Notice.
Kind Regards
xxxxxx
Executive Relations
I'm very annoyed and disappointed the way ASDA treats its customers. Such an inconsiderate email with no apology whatsover !!
What is the next step guys. Please advice.
I'm thinking of posting this email on Asda's twitter account. Any suggestions on that or would it just be a waste of time, falling in deaf ears again !

Well done ASDA, only thing I can criticise the stores for is the way they allocate the spaces, some have the BB and P&C closest to the entrance, instead of ailses of parking (although one I know of does) .0 -
"regulations"?
They are no such thing , just some made-up ruules about a marketing gimmick which has no basis in law. What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0 -
P&C bays mean nothing; there are no 'regulations' applicable. These bays are merely a gimmick to get families in the door to spend.
It would be different re a disabled bay. What is the next step guys. Please advice.
Not sure why you are asking? You already know!Don't appeal the windscreen ticket until about day 22 by post or day 25 online. The NEWBIES thread explains why.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

So much for wanting your custom then ?
What a rude way to talk to customers, goes without fail that people should not shop with Asda due to the scammers they employ
Hope you will never shop at Asda again and tell all your friends to warn them that Asda employs money making scammers.
I would write a "private and confidential" email to the CEO again telling him that a member of his staff has "in a nutshell" told you never to shop with them again and that you will now happily abide and tell all the young mothers to avoid Asda in future.
Asda have no right to judge you on the "right's or wrong's" ... more so is it right to shop with them.
The other thought might be is that as Asda are losing money, they are taking a cut of each scam ticket issued ?
So a warning to everyone, BOYCOTT ASDA, they are not customer friendly ... SHOP ELSEWHERE
