    MOVING THREADS FOR BETTER RESPONSES

Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: I’ve asked Board Guides to move threads if they’ll receive a better response elsewhere (please see this rule) so this post/thread has been moved to another board, where it should get more replies. Now now! Let’s put this thread to bed!

    You need one of these:-
    http://www.rabbit-traps.co.uk/standard-rabbit-trap.html

    One of these http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Mickey_Mouse.svg

    as bait,

when you have got your cat, alive and well

do not try to poke it with a sharp stick like this boy

    http://www.mcglinch.com/blog/uploaded_images/stickineye-764774.jpg

You can see that this boy was so excited that he poked himself.

Instead take it for a drive, somewhere nice like chester zoo lion enclosure!

    Let it go!

    Problem solved!

Oh yes! don’t bring it anywhere near my places please!

And for all you cat lovers who haven’t got a sense of humour!

I've just used one of these

People keep saying buy some lion poo!
Forget it, your replacing one dollop with another!
    Search ebay for 'LION'!
Let the cat owners have a bit of there own medicine!
Come to think of it, so can those dogs, those pesky children, and dam annoying neighbour!
Yes 'LION' on ebay is for me! Im sure chester zoo will be flogging surplus stock soon.

Just dig a little area that they can go in and put cat repellant on the other places. They soon learn where to go and I don't use the repellant anymore. I wasted ages on orange rind, pepper, bottles filled with water that looked awful, mirrors, rustling plants, those things that spin in the wind, shouting when you see them (hissing at them is better) but they just get used to it all. We now have an understanding and I have a lovely flower garden with no hidden surprises.
Think of happiness as a kind of mental gardening.

I really don't know if this has been mentioned before as I can't be bothered to read the whole thread! A friend of mine was suffering with the cat problem and was told to buy a rubber snake and put it in the garden coiled up as if it were stalking and waiting for prey... and just change it's location every couple of days. It worked instantly and provides an excellent talking point at BBQs!

Has anyone tried these so called 'cat scarers' at all?

I brought my son a massive water pistol - haven't seen the pesky cat for weeks! Keeps me amused...good post Cameron BTW :)

i also had the same problem. I have found that if you place old cds around the garden the cats will soon stop using it as a loo. Good luck.

I've seen a few postings on here with people wondering about how to get cats out of teh garden etc.

well, last Saturday (maybe a bit late now) but there was an advertisement in the Dail Express for a readers offer of "Coleus Canina", The "pee-off plant" which is supposed to distract cats from the garden.

There is a phone number of 08715211660 - Daily Express Offer - EX170508

    You can get 5 for £7.95 + P&P or 15 for £17.95.

Garlic, chop it up into little bits, sprinkle round the garden and cats wont use the garden as a litter tray.
It does work, I live in a neighbourhood with thousands of the horrible things (the horrible ones are the ones that used to poop in my garden lol)

Fresh garlic does work, its the most cheapest effective remedy ive ever found :D
