It's the same here. As soon as they hear the back door open they are off and i don't have time to do anything. It's very frustrating .:mad:Grocery Challenge for October: £135/£200

I hear Arg0s do a good giant water pistol which you could load ready to dive out and sploosh with.
I think I'll put up a plain old chicken wire fence and see if I can keep the wretched critters out of the veg plot.No longer half of Optimisticpair

See what you mean, so now try to thoroughly soak all the areas they go on. Cats don't like the wet, so anyway you can think of to make it miserable for them do so and by making everywhere absolutely sodden is working for us. Shoot water up into the trees and shrubs, they won't like it!
Failing all that, check out the highest powered squirters that might be able to be operated from a window and blast em with it.
Good luck all!

Helppppppp!! Its so frustrating. They are peeing up a bush in the front garden and killing it, and they are also pooping in my flower beds and on the lawn. Cant let the kids out until ive been out to inspect it. I have tried pepper...which does work for a few days but then they come back. Have also tried "getoff" which hasnt bothered them. Was looking into one of those electronic devices but as they are quite expensive i want to know that they actully work. Has any one else used one before, what are your experiences? Any other recommendations? Am at the end of my tether now :-(0

I swear by Citronella oil, works a treat. Sprinke some on tea bags and scatter around your garden.

Thanks, i will give the citronella a go....cross fingers lol. Have looked at the green fingers forum ( i never knew existed), but cant really find much. Have looked around for reviews on the electronic device i was thinking of, but all 50/50 really, and i also have a rabbit and would worry about harming his ears0

We tried the electronic devices and they were expensive and didn't work. The cats poohed just next to them but the high pitch noise drove my teenage son mad.0

Hmmm... yes now i come to think of it, i saw a news article once where they were trying out a new anti-social device to stop teenagers hanging around local shops. It sent out a high pitched sound that apparantly only teenagers could hear. They played the sound on the tv and it worked....my son could hear it but no-one else in the house could. So maybe one of those is not such a good idea afterall ;-)0
