I took my duvet to the launderette and put in one of their industrial sized washing machines. Cost me £4.70 last Friday, dried it on the line afterwards, came up lovely.Re the relative, you can’t do more than invite her, then it’s up to her whether she turns up. I hope she appreciates the handbag.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)1

That’s the crazy thing SA…..she never communicates but buys presents for anyone and everyone ( usually to her own taste rather than whoever she’s buying for….we’ve had some memorable ones in the past 😂😂😂) It’s how she spends her time trawling shops looking for presents. I’m always at a loss what to buy her so jumped at the chance when I knew it was something she liked.January spends - £587.581

I tried the air cooker today. Its tiny. It fit 2 bake at home mini baguettes in and that was it. Then we cooked 3 sausages. It cooked them well though….can’t see me cooking any actual proper meals in it. I’d have probably bought a bigger model….but can see the reasoning it’ll do for Millie.January spends - £587.581

Air fryer made fab jacket potatoes. 10 minutes in the microwave and 15 in the air fryer…..they were love and crispy 😃 I’d have previously had the oven on for an hour 👍January spends - £587.582

Yay…..curtains are up 😃😃😃- I’m sleeping in my own bed tonight 👍👍. I’ve just got one set to turn up but I’m leaving them up to drop overnight and I’ll sort them tomorrow. The fabric shop was open so I now have fabric to cover the foam in the window seat, cushions on chair and stool. It’s finally coming together. I want to spray the Lloyd loom chair grey…..unless anyone has a better way of painting one…..it’s been every colour under the sun. It used to be Mr Ms gran’s chair - it’s really too big for the room but I don’t want to part with it. Then I’ll crochet a cover for a cushion that I only bought a couple of years ago which will sit in the bay. But first priority is to get the rooms ready by Tuesday for dd and gks to come to stay. I need to cull some books in my craft /gks room as it’s looking rather cluttered. I’m going to completely empty dhs room where he hoards his junk (stores precious items never to be seen again once they enter the walls 😂😂😂) That will be all put back dusted and tidy - minus quite a lot of it if I have my way. Busy day ahead 🤫🤫 Mr M doesn’t know of the plans yet 😉😂😂January spends - £587.582

I’ve been dusting and emptying the room whilst Dh has been pottering outside 👍 I needed him out of the way. Then he can beginner to put everything back. I find it works much better this way as left to his own devices he just puts things in bags in bags and hasn’t a blooming clue what’s where 😂January spends - £587.581

Did some and hung it on my maiden outside. Everything was full of horrible black marks….dirtier than when I put it in. I think it’s because I only use a short wash and it’s left a build up of dirty residue in the machine. Ive run a very hot wash through - 3 hours 😳. Washing is now back in….hopes it’ll come out clean. I seem to remember you have to run an empty machine every now and then to clean the innards of the machine. Hope it works and my machine isn’t on the blink 🤞January spends - £587.580
