Not planning doing much today. My arm is sore…..it’s been sore a while now. It keeps locking up,  don’t think the injection helped yesterday as it’s very stiff today. £25 spent on haircut, appointment made for mid December.

We didn’t get any trick or treaters last night. The weather was terrible though. Got lots of sweets to eat 😂😂

It didn't start raining at home until 8pm so we got plenty of trick or treaters before then.

Was glad when it had calmed down a little.

Hope your arm has eased a bit now Milann and you have no other ill effects from your vaccines.

We had no trick or treaters last night either but then we don't put up any decorations and I think finally round our way they've all agreed to stick to houses that are decorated. I'm not complaining as I'd not bought anything for them!

I have made good use of my lazy day. I’ve written a present list for Christmas so have an idea what I’m buying for most people……just my grown up kids…..I have no idea what to get them. I’ve ordered Dh birthday present for next week and decided what to get youngest gdd for her birthday.
I’ve looked at my finances for the last couple of months and as I knew I’d gone well over my monthly budget. One month had my gym membership and birthday outing the other all the bedroom bits. I need to get back on track instead of dibbing into savings. The freezer is fairly full so I’ll be using that as much as possible to make room for Christmas food and save cash.
I’ve been looking at savings accounts too. I’ve been intending on either getting premium bonds or opening an account for a good while but each time I’ve tried to open one something has gone wrong on line. I want a saving account where I can just go into a bank without messing about on line. I’ll watch Martin on catch up tomorrow to see what he has to say. Watching Bake Off…..sorry Martin 🤫
My arm is still sore…..I had a surgery several years ago and the elbow keeps locking up and it’s not liking the colder weather and I think all the cleaning and sorting the bedrooms didn’t help…..the actual tops of my arms where I had the jabs aren’t that bad now - and I’ve had no side effects. Think I’d have had them by now.
I’ve watched some catch up tv today. Tea was kedgeree using some smoked fish on its best by date that we bought at a smokehouse when we were last away….it was delicious. Not much planned for tomorrow either. It should be the craft session I go to but not sure I’m going. I’ve been so busy recently I just need some quiet time.

I’ve been rather stupid with my lump sum…….it’s still sitting in my current account not earning very much at all 😳There wasn’t that much incentive as the rates were so low.  I tried to get pbs with it and had trouble with the website. I need to do something before I start nibbling at it. Haven’t touched it yet 👍 That’s my rainy day money as they’ll never be another lump sum unless I win the lottery and since I don’t buy a ticket there not much chance of that.
I have been looking at in bank savings accounts today. I won’t do anything until next week though in case things change. I don’t want an internet account.
ive just nipped to M@raisins for some milk and managed to pick up yellow stickered cake, bread rolls, ham and coleslaw 😃 I also picked up a Christmas jumper….not sure why as I’m not at school to wear it anymore. Old habits are hard to break. I got a book for a Christmas present too 👍
The rain is coming down hard and it’s blowing a gale…..not nice out there. But we need the rain the water levels are still ridiculously low on the reservoirs we passed at weekend. if we have a dry winter and another hot summer next year they’ll be problems 😳
