Beanie….I’ll pace myself when you do 😂😂😂😂
I’ve had quite a reflective morning watching the waiting times with ambulances on TV. It’s so scary that people are waiting hours like this. None of us know when we might need one. It’s the anniversary of my first bowel perforation today. I can’t quite believe how long it has been. I don’t know how long I waited for the ambulance that day as I was in and out of consciousness- I was suddenly aware of the ambulance crew hammering on the door - I thought I’d left the door open for them but somehow I’d pushed the snicket lock down so they couldn’t get in. But I’m pretty sure if I’d have had to wait hours I wouldn’t be here today. Very sobering thoughts…..it’s also the anniversary of my mums funeral. Again I was thinking - she passed away on 29th December and even allowing for bank holidays the funeral took place on 4th January. Most people I know that've passed away need to wait a couple of weeks at least between the passing and funeral day. Right enough of those thoughts…
I had quite a spendy day yesterday, but my first day of spends this year. I met a friend for dinner. It’s the first chance we’ve had to get together since her 50th birthday in November. So I treated us to dinner and bought a little pressie. I suddenly realised I didn’t have the car to get there (we’re still waiting on the car repair) so ended up taking Dh to and from work so I could use the car. Bad timing on my part though as it needed filling with petrol 😏 can’t complain though as I haven’t filled it for a while. I topped up on milk and a few bits but don’t need much food atm. Anyway my day cost me £80. I don’t think I’ll need much else for a few days now though. I debated taking him to work again so I could go for a swim but have decided to let my ankle have a rest day as it’s still not at its best.January spends - £587.581 -
I’m actually all fired up and excited to start my new year venture. Don’t go getting excited though as it’s the same as I’ve already posted but I if I’d have started on Jan 1st I’d have failed already. I wanted to use the things I had in before venturing back to SlimmingWorld and use my finances wisely. I’ve got a new mindset though and will be focusing differently - hence not rushing in at 1 January. To restart I’m starting a new diary. I’ve no idea how to post a link but will be calling it Milann’s quest for a new me in 23.
