Thanks Beanie. Not sure they can do much for it……I’m not having more surgery. I’ll know the week after next when they x ray it. It’s making lots of clicking and clunking it didn’t do when when I first had it done…..watch this space 😏

I’ve been doing a bit of thinking as it’s the end of a year. Just out of interest has anyone tried hypnotherapy and was it worth the money for you? Something I’m quite interested in???????

Losing weight.  Just a silly (I think) idea that popped into my head.

I would be worried what a hypnotherapist might uncover and whether they’d open up Pandora’s Box. I’m sure some people have found them helpful though. I spent years trying to lose a few pounds, lots of different diets but one day something just clicked, it was joining WW for me and the accountability of being weighed every week.

The last time we went on a weight loss push our biggest kick up the bum was each other. We didn't together and lost loads.

Think we might do it again early next year to be fair. Trouble is keeping it off not losing it!

I’ve tried hypnosis for weight loss, it didn’t work for me but it could for you.

  • My nana had a whistling hearing aid 🤣 it was back in the 70’s though and had a twisted wire leading to a big box she probably hooked on her pinny waistband 😁 (my memory is a little shaky there, but I remember the box (and the pinny)). I so glad we have moved on!

Interesting…..I’m very tempted but if I did there’s no way I’d ever tell Dh.
Many moons ago - pre children- I was in the audience of a entertainment  type of hypnotist and was picked to be one of his victims. He tried to put me under but didn’t think it had worked so sent me back to my seat. I watched the show but wasn’t quite with it and was laughing uncontrollably at anything and everything. After the show my Dh who was very sceptical about it all had to go and tell him I wasn’t quite with it. He came back and hypnotised me again. I don’t remember that much about it - only what I’ve been told by dh and friends. So something had happened to me. My Dh wasn’t quite the same skeptic afterwards.  We’d been talking about it earlier then I’d seen hypnotism mentioned on a different thread and it got me thinking……
Anyway have a lovely evening whatever you’re doing. Here’s to a happy healthy and peaceful 2023 everyone 🎊🎉🥂
