  • Sorry to read the sad news of your friend. Hopefully you will be able to go the the funeral.

It's good to know that you've made the right decision about work. And how nice to have a live-in chef when required!

My fridge freezer has been making strange noises for a while now…..even before we had the kitchen revamped. Moving it for the renovation seemed to sort it so we decided rather than just replacing it for the sake of it we’d wait until it packed up. The funny clunking noises are getting worse again plus the seals have all split so it is getting close to having to be replaced before it actually packs up. Yesterday we popped into Curry’s. I hate buying new as we can never decide what to get…..we can fit a very small American style one with drawers in the freezer rather than the usual door or just go the conventional fridge freezer way. We’ve been researching online today and confuddled ourselves further. So we thought we would see what other electronic shops are out there we can visit to see them in real life……other than John Lewis I can’t see any near us. When I think back there were 5 different electrical retailers just in my town centre. There is no choice out there and I want to see in the flesh rather than looking at t’internet pictures….😡😡😡😡 is it just me who likes to see what I’m buying rather than just a picture on a screen…..it’s sad - as that’s the way it is 😏

  • We don’t have any retailers up here to go look, but have used AO a lot and they’ve been very good on price and delivery.

We’ve looked at AO and they do look good - my ds has had a lot from themin the past. I just like to feel the quality….. or not…..we’ll probably end up at curry’s as there is little difference in AO and curry’s price.  I like to deal with an actual person too….

I’ve had a lot of appliances from AO. They’re great but the downside is the hard sell on insurance when they ring you to see how you’re getting on with your new purchase. To be fair I’ve definitely had my money’s worth out of the washing machine insurance. Apart from that can’t fault them.
