😂😂I was less than impressed SSG as the pots were clearly labelled chilli…..he has however redeemed himself by making some lovely burgers, chips, onion and tomatoes…twas very tasty and SW friendly 😁
I’ve had a lovely afternoon just pottering in the garden whilst dh has been playing trains. I’ve planted some winter flowering pansies in my pots by the front door…..it looks a tad pathetic after the lovely display of sweet peas, geranium, alyssum and lobelia I had over summer…. they were well past their best now though. Hopefully these pansies will spread themselves out a tad. I can hardly move now though….I was wondering if I’d done the right thing re work but I’ve only been out there a couple of hours and had to keep sitting down on the steps. And sweeping up still really gets me. Today proved I have made the right decision 👍 I’ve saved the pods from the sweet peas and will plant them in the next day or so. Im trying to be as MSE as possible. I’m also replanting some geranium in smaller pots to try to overwinter in my mini greenhouse- I usually end up buying new each year…..time to make the mini greenhouse earn its keep.I won the raffle at sw this morning again…..a little plaque. Tomatoes, celery, mini peppers, plums, apples, pears and carrots…..not a bad haul or £1 ticket. I’ve only been 5 times and won twice 😁
I had some sad news about a lady I’ve known since she was 3. She passed away at weekend - 45 years old. She was one of life’s characters…a 3 ft bundle of attitude, bravery, brains and humour packed into a little body that gave her far to many health problems and pain. I thought she would go on for ever as she defied the odds so many times. I will try to go to the funeral but it will depend where and when it is.January spends - £587.581 -
