I had a lovely gushing email from school. I couldn’t be 2 faced and gush back - but answered what needed to be answered and that was it. No niceties- in fact very curt for me. I intend to ask in the meeting - so that it can be recorded - why I was told it was out of schools hands with no further correspondence….. and I was left that way over the holidays. Hopefully that will mean nobody else will be left hanging like this. Is that ok do you think or out of order???
I've been filling the forms in for ESA all day. I thought the easy form I’d filled in online was too good to be true. I’ve had a letter today though saying they will pay me from May - finally feel as if things are moving - I am a tad confused as I still have a load of forms here for them….but I’m not complaining 👍 Tomorrow I’ll photocopy it all and and get it sent off. I’ll probably need to have a medical at some point….watch this space.
Dh is still working- so much for resting up last week😏 that’s probably why his boss asked if he wanted his previous hours in lieu of payment last week 🤔🤔🤔 think I’m getting very suspicious in my old age…..January spends - £587.583 -

It’s a beautiful day here and the last thing I feel like doing is finishing the paperwork for ESA but I will do it. I had the worse nights sleep I’ve had for a long time….too many things going through my mind and my arm was throbbing- must have been a combination of the bits of gardening I’ve been doing the last few days plus writing a lot yesterday…..and it was so warm. I thought we’d got rid of the hot nights and I’d settled into lovely cooler nights.
I need to do some shopping today. I’m out of bread and milk and the freezer is lower than I’ve seen it in a long time. Talking about freezers….still not made a decision about which one to get and the old one has been quiet again for the last couple of days….I bet it’ll suddenly just grind to a halt when it decides to go 😳😳
Right I need to get some things sorted …January spends - £587.581 -
Mmmmm…..I should be filling forms in but instead I’ve been researching my newly acquired curly hair which looks as if I’ve been dragged through a hedge backwards - not curly enough to look good. Just enough to take a life of its own on especially as it needs cutting and it is warm. I always had straight hair - except after I’d had the first stoma. It was curly for a while then went straighter again. As I expected it can be trauma and drugs used but hair can go curly with age which I hadn’t realised…..January spends - £587.582

My hair has definitely got curlier as I’ve got older. I used to have straight hair that only curled at the ends, now it’s wavy from eye level downwards. I have to wash and condition it every day as it’s such a frizzy mess in the morning. It doesn’t stay tidy for 5 minutes.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)1

Sooooo…..I’ve finished the forms and taken them around to a local printers to get them copied. We do have a printer….an all singing and dancing one - well it was when it was new BUT it never talks to the computer and every time I need to use it, it usually ends up with dh cursing somewhere along the line as he tries to get it sorted 😂😂😂 so I find it a lot easier to take things I need quickly around to the printers. Our old printer was so much better but used to drink ink. It cost me £4 but there were pages of it and I sent doctor’s reports too. I wanted a copy of everything I’ve sent just in case….Sometimes it’s easier to cut your losses for less stress 👍 I’m just going shopping to Mr Ms and the postbox in there gets emptied at 5pm whereas the one on the corner won’t go until tomorrow morning. I popped in a local shop next door to the printers for a bottle of milk so I could have a quick cuppa whilst filling the envelope with forms before heading to the shops. As I poured the milk it floated to the top in little chunks - I smelt it 🤢🤢🤢 the date on it was 2 nd. I went back with it and he was very apologetic. Turns out his supplier has done the dirty on him and given him about 10 bottles dated the 2nd this morning- he wasn’t a happy chappie - anyway I got a 4 Pinter instead of a 1 Pinter for my inconvenience. Wouldn’t want to be in the suppliers shoes when he phones them 😵💫😵💫January spends - £587.581

1/2lb off this morning. Still got 1/2 to go to recoup what I’d put on a couple of weeks ago….I could kick myself but what is done is done…..going in the right direction again now. I have done very little walking this week though so I will up that this week. I’ve lost 3 lb in 6 weeks which cost me £34 so that’s over £10 a lb 😳😳😳 Need to up my game me thinks 😵💫😵💫😵💫👍👍👍 I walked there and back this morning so 10,000 steps. I need to do some serious housework today but had to rest after the walk. Dh is working late so I’ve had bacon and tomato on toast for lunch and will start with the kitchen to see how far I get 👍 Easy tea for me - tuna jacket with salad….dh will sort himself out as they’re working a couple of hours away and will probably eat on the way home.January spends - £587.582

Well done on the half a pound, every little helps. If you haven’t got loads to lose you’re never going to have a massive loss anyway so best to take it steady 👍I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)1
