My new trainers were very comfortable during the physio exercise but I walked home in them afterwards without my podiatry insoles in….I could definitely feel the difference without them but am reluctant to put the hard insoles in my lovely soft comfortable trainers 😏😏 think I’ll just use them for short periods that don’t include walking.January spends - £587.581

I’m very pleased with my trainers Beanie. SSG it’s Llanberris at the base of Snowdon….. about an hour and 45 minutes from here. There’s a lovely flat walk by the side of the lake complete with children’s play area and lots of water sport. Even saw a few folk swimming. There’s a slate museum that’s free to go in but only taking bookings atm and a lovely little train to ride on……we often have an afternoon there. Oh and I don’t work for the Welsh tourist board either 😂😂 we usually drive home via the Llanberris pass which is an amazing drive.
I had to go and collect a prescription this morning so decided to have a walk to the park where I have a cuppa watching the ducks. I’ve been neglecting my exercise recently in favour of sitting in front of the tv 🤔😳🤔 The photo was one of the paths I ventured along. I’ve got to admit the exercise class I went to yesterday also did a bit of an introductory lesson about weight loss and exercise being the best and easiest medicine to help arthritis. I think I’ve been too preoccupied with the retirement issues and have let things slip badly. I thoroughly enjoyed it and had a cuppa and got myself a book from a book swap that has opened there so sat reading my book enjoying my drink for a rest before walking home. The autumnal colours were beginning tof show. Not a NSD as I called in Morrison’s for some more pansies. £5 added to my total which wasn’t planned 😏 September spends rounded up to £84 😵💫😳
January spends - £587.582 -
Looks very nice and as you say a bit autumnal.Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.2

Just to confuddle me further I had a letter from the pensions folk this afternoon. I thought the HR were being efficient and getting things organised…..as if 😏 I ended up phoning pension folk as it didn’t make sense and I couldn’t work out if it was my deferred pension but there was no mention of early retirement in the letter…..turns out it was the deferred one but nothing to do with the early retirement….it just happens to mature on my 63 rd birthday at the end of the month. Nothing to get excited about though at £130 a year ( I’m very pleased it wasn’t the current one 😳😳)January spends - £587.582

I think anything to do with pensions is deliberately written in jargon no one understands. Don’t go mad with that £130 a year 😆I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)1

What a beautiful picture I would have that framed1
