  • I think I bought my PC Samsung screens from Ao when I started working from home. 🤔. If I did they were the cheapest and had an efficient delivery service.

I agree with @beanielou about contacting the union. This saga is going on and on....☹️

That’s the plan for tomorrow. I’m going to ring HR see what they have to say and then get in touch with the union.I’m not even going to speak to school- I’ll go over their head…. I’ve given school a few days to get the term started so they should be on the case.
I’ve also had a booklet to fill in from ESA - at first glance it look as if it’s the same things I filled in online when I first applied 🤔🤔🤔 I’m just pleased I’m not on my own and have dh.

  • Good for you - I wouldn't bother speaking to the school either - they haven't been much help lately. Hope all goes well. 🤞

I’m sitting here procrastinating and putting off phoning HR but I will after I’ve finished my cuppa.
Yesterday was a totally spontaneous and unplanned but lovely day at home…..😳😳. We started out chilling in the garden with a cup of tea. Looking at a ‘village’ on the model railway we (or should I say….. I 😏😂) decided it needed a ‘bit’ of a sort out….so we took all the small buildings off….1 thing led to another as it does….I put all the small plants in pots, removing the many weeds at the same time- it wasn’t heavy work just involved me sitting on a cushion with a hand trowel. Ds moved all the rocks from around the edge and rockery area and rearranged them slightly.  So now we just have a bed of soil and need to rearrange and put it all back but dh is back in work today and I can’t lift the rocks that make the rockery bits it’ll drive me mad until he is off again. We could do with a bit more topsoil - I can’t believe we need more after the skip loads we got rid of when we did the front garden earlier this year. Will have to have a trip to ds to pinch a couple of bags back we’d given him. I do love a good rearrange of things 😂😂😂😂 it won’t cost us anything just a bit of my creativity and dh muscles. We do it every few years as we need to keep the plants small and in scale. I will probably give the cottages a coat of paint to keep myself out of mischief 👍😁
We we’re going to head to our local town where there was a food and drinks festival but we did have a lovely time in the garden and it was too hot to walk as it would have had a lot of temptation that wasn’t SW, Dh treated us to a ‘spoons tea instead which was very nice 😁 I had jacket, salad and steak 😁

HR have just been back in touch. There is a meeting on 16 September. I’ve just been in touch with union to see if she can attend - waiting for her to get back to me.
