OBL…. thanks for the encouragement. I think it’s the fact that you said you were starting at the same time has helped spur me on.
So I’ve had yet another call from HR this morning. The letter I had in June from Occupational Health is confirmation that the retirement will go through…no need for another independent doctor report….I couldn’t understand why I needed this as occupational  health are independent in my eyes…..but nobody seems to know where the paperwork following on from that is 😡😡😡😡 HR is going to chase it up with school but school is shut. The head teacher has made herself look a right #*@!😵‍💫…..insert appropriate word of choice 😡😡 Right Royal Mess if you ask me 😡😡😡 I’m in 2 minds whether or not to get onto the union to see what can be done……but as it’s school holidays I don’t expect they can do much.
The GP phoned yesterday and it was she lovely,  one who was an original partner in the practice. She is leaving me a sicknote until the end of September when hopefully everything will be sorted. I’m just going to collect it. We had a good chat. I’ve been having some horrendous hot moments and just assumed it was hormonal but she seems to think it could be a form of anxiety…..I didn’t know anxiety came out in sweats 🤔🤔🤔
I've just signed up to a 5 week exercise class programme with the physios….starts in a couple of weeks.

After the GP phoned yesterday we went for a ride just into Wales……an hour and 15 minute drive away and had a lovely walk along the beach. I also visited a biiiiggggggcraft shop en route and £17 worth of wool fell i tothe back of the car 😏 Think that make my August spends £87…..😳 Today will be a NSD. We ended up in WSpoons and had steak and jacket for tea on our way home. Had a really lovely day 😃

    That looks awesome.

At least you know now that the ill health retirement will go through.
    Just a question of when.
It certainly has been some saga & I would not be surprised if anxiety has reared its ugly head.

No harm in getting the union involved.
They might kick a few bums.
Can HR not get duplicate paperwork from Occ Health?

We all have reports of the occupational report Beanie……it’s the forms that need to accompany the report that school have to complete to send to pensions people that have gone astray…..

I’ve been putting off painting the decking for ages…..today is the day. It’s looking cloudy but no rain forecast - hope it stays like that and doesn’t wash the paint off 😜

The rain blew over and paint seems ok. I was going to give it a 2nd coat but won’t push my luck too far. Maybe later when we get home if the weather looks ok.
Dh has been working on his bosses house. Lots of alterations in an already lovely  house on the edge of a park in a very prestigious part of town. We’ve been invited to a party this afternoon so I’m going to have a look at dh handiwork. Plus if it’s anything like his parents parties there will be some gorgeous Persian food. I’m going to wear a dress for the first time in a very long time………it feels quite alien actually going out out 😜
