I keep toying with the idea of going back to SW but I don't want to spend the money 😀 I do so much better when I go to a group though so might have to bite the bullet and just go. My problem is I go and get to goal then I stop going and end up putting the weight back on again,I just keep losing and gaining the same stone 😟

I tried going back to SW about 3 months ago. It just made me food obsessed and miserable this time. Then there was the thought that the £6 a week could be paying off something else......

It was the paying out that motivated me to get to goal with WW and motivates me to stay there. I just pay £6.95 a month for the app as a Gold member. I’ve missed going to the meetings, I used to enjoy chatting to other people more than anything. They’re opening up again now but not the nearby venue I used to go to as they’re still using it as a vaccination centre. Will definitely be going back once they’re open locally.

That’s what’s putting me off - paying. But I felt so tired and still feel really achey after the walk yesterday, and I took it steady with lots of rests. I know carrying the extra weight around my middle isn’t doing me any good at all. The muscles are weak after 5 lots of major stomach surgery and it’s the only thing I can think of that might help. I’m limited with the meds I can take…..anti inflammatory meds are a no no in case it causes another perforation. I’m not relishing sitting in a room full of people either…..mmmm…..might give it another go myself…..

Me too, I actually stopped going last time because it clashed with my day to have DGS1, of course I put the weight back on after a while. There is a local group down the road from me at the bottom of two very steep hills so lots of exercise on the way back 😀I might look into joining that one,it's on a Monday so sometimes I will be working but I don't mind going to a different group on those days, I also liked meetings as a chance to meet other people and have a chat 😊

I’m up for it OBL…..there  are a few around here. I’ve been going to the last one about 8 years and she is absolutely lovely as are the people…..but she knows my history and what a tough few years I’ve had health wise. I feel as if I need a complete new start with no history and a bit of tough talking. There is one with a big airy room about half an hour walk from here…..I’ve popped in when I haven’t been able to get to the other group and she seems ok. Plus it’s closer to home and I might meet some more local folk. There used to be a very local one but I’ve not seen it advertised for a while. I might do a bit of investigation. The sooner I loose it the sooner I can stop paying and go for free……

All weight loss is really slow for me. I dug out the SW books and have been doing that for a week so far, with one treat after tea…so not religiously following, but being too severe just makes me give in. At the very least it makes me eat healthier, but it’s hard ☹️
