Little cot blanket 👶 not that it will be needed in this weather.
Looks a bit uneven but it’s just the way I’ve pulled it.

Ds is working late again so I’m having a lazy tea of a bacon butty and taking it outside now the sun has passed around to the front. I need my parasol up but can’t manage it on my own….the base is too heavy for me. I’ve opened both the doors and there’s a lovely breeze passing through.
I watched the Kathy Burke show on catch up on Chanel 4 about money…..rich and poor folk featured in the two programmes. I found it quite intriguing……people’s concept of wealth and their reaction to it always intrigues me.

I watched the Kathy Burke programme too and was really annoyed because when they showed the one about poor people all the adverts were for gambling sites 😡 I did find it interesting when they showed the man who owned the park home sites and asked him why he kept on working so hard and he said he was scared he might lose it all even though he was really rich, seems like being rich might not be as fun as it's made out especially if you have come from a poor background like he did

Dh phoned and asked if we fancied a day out so we headed to a seaside place an hour or so away. It’s not the most popular but has a good path to walk miles along the sea front and estuary. You could go miles in either direction and it’s quite an interesting place as there are boats coming in and out of the docks. It’s on one of the Chanel 4 logos.
I walked as far as I felt comfortable and knew I could manage the return journey and told ds and dh to carry on to a lighthouse they wanted to walk toward. I found the only shady place around and had a pleasant hour people watching whilst they walked as close to the distant lighthouse as they could get. You could see the Welsh hills in the distance but there was quite a heat haze over them. We walked back into town and ate in a hungry horse…..it was ok but was just good to get out of the sun into an air conditioned place. I paid….habit 😏 I should have waited for dh to pay. But £33 for 3 of us wasn’t bad and ds paid midweek and he supplied the petrol. Dh will pay for other things instead.
July spends £160.30 so I’m still in target but I need to keep an eye on things.
I’m very stiff around my back and middle and feel quite uncomfortable. I’m playing with the idea of going back to SlimmingWorld- I need the accountability. I will go to a different group nearer home if I do so that it’s a completely clean slate, plus it’s a Wednesday and won’t interfere if we want to go in the motorhome once we get it - the old group was a Friday or Saturday……I’m a bit torn as to what to do 😏 I can always go back to my old group if I don’t like this one…….if I go 😏
