more rabble.
I thing the majority also cared about their country.
You can argue that the vote was close but its still a majority vote.
That's how a democratic society works.
You work in the legal sector so I'm sure you are comfortable with figures.
I'm sure you also know that the pound fluctuates all the time. It did before the referendum and will continue to do so after.
Ok, just to take a step back - tensions are high due to almost half the country disagreeing with the vote and also many Leave voters wondering what they voted for (e.g. false promises).
I stand to do better after the Leave vote actually, but have already benefited from working around the EU to further my career, so I could say I got a lot out of the EU - screw the next generation as it will not affect me. But I worry that the opportunities will not be so good. My EU colleagues who have worked in the UK for many years do not know whether they will get booted out. It is only other people I worry about - I am fine, my family is fine. Am I not allowed to think about other people or is it only important what benefits me personally? To err is human, but it is against company policy.0 -
why do you say a 'weak' pound is 'not a great thing'
what do you consider the 'right ' value for the pound?
the vast majority of economists that the view that the Germany currency would be much higher if they still had the DM.
They have been effectivity devalued by being part of a weak euro : is that good or bad for Germany?
I means it is awesome to be in the EU without having the Euro.To err is human, but it is against company policy.0 -

why do you think your EU colleagues should have benefited rather than people from the UK?
why do you think your EU colleagues should have benefited rather than people from the rest of the world
is this a self interest issue or one of moral concern for humanity?0 -

no amount of worrying will change anything will it.
From a person who voted out I saw the remain camp making fake promises.
6 of one and half a dozen of the other.
I am honestly glad that your family are fine.
You think we are screwing the next generation, the leave voters think we are protecting their future.
Do you not agree its pointless arguing the toss about who is right or wrong.
Nobody knows if the decision was the right one. We can only hope it was.
The remain camp need to put it behind them and move forward.0 -
In what way do you think it's better now?
We went to uni for fee, came out with no debts.
Walked into a good job with prospects - had a choice in fact.
We bought a 3 bed house for 2.3 times joint salary straight out of uni.
I guess healthcare is more advanced and travel is easier if you have money.
I wouldn't swap with today's young.
How did you get to that conclusion?
Didn't get chance to go to university
Bought 3 bed house for 4x thier joint salary
The big difference is Job prospects and I don't think it's the EU that's done that.0 -

Wrong attitude. We don't have the skills in Britain to fill these roles fully, so going the the EU made sense. Other non-EU countries could be fine too. People have jobs now, why should the be booted out.
Self interest? You are quite a piece of work.To err is human, but it is against company policy.0 -

Wrong on all counts as per usual. The remain camp made no promises - remaining meant remaining - i.e. no upheaval or uncertainty. Regardless of the potential ideals of change, the vote was purely between "remain the same - no need for promises" or "who knows what will happen".
If you think that voting out was protecting the future without having the first clue about how anything will be achieved then you need to take a look at yourself before stating that you are protecting the future. Creating uncertainty does not protect the future in any way.To err is human, but it is against company policy.0 -

what's wrong with teaching the skills needed.
I doubt you were born with the skills to do your job.
Why are people from outside the UK better skilled?0
