In this thread I am talking about your own comments actually. You appear to be proving yourself wrong at every turn.

Why should I provide hard facts? The biggest problem is that there are zero hard facts about why leaving is good. So far it is not going well. If we are lucky we may get back to where we were in a decade or two.

Give me some hard facts on how things are better please. Not "ideals" or "maybes". Cheers.

ok you just said its not going well.
Prove it. I'm calling you out on this.

You cant can you because its far too early to tell yet.

The only thing that IS FACT is we democratically voted to leave.
That's why your so upset isn't it.

    Look at it like this.

Why are you all looking for Facts as to why leaving is good?
The referendum is OVER, the results were in a while ago in case you missed them.

Your flogging a dead horse arguing the toss.
As Nana in Catherine Tate would say. "too f-ing late dot com"

The cold hard fact is we voted leave and no amount of trying to talk down to anyone that voted leave will change the decision will it.

Time to grow up (and a pair) and just accept what happened.

IF in a few years down the line it becomes obvious it was the wrong decision then you have the right to say "I told you so"
It WONT however change the original decision.

The pound appears to be weak. That is not a great thing, but is a fact. It affected me on the day too.

51.9% is not really that democratic - I suppose there is not much we can do about it being so close, but I guess the 48.1% are no longer significant.

You are correct - we voted to leave the EU, but what does that mean? Did you vote for less immigration? No. Did you vote to spend EU fees on other things? No. Did you vote for a better country? No, because all you voted for was to leave the EU, which in itself means nothing because it depends on how it unfolds.

I will do well either way as I work in the legal sector, but at least I care about my country rather than being a winner or a loser.
To err is human, but it is against company policy.

What a load of meaningless babble. You have just said that you don't care if it turns out to be wrong, but it has happened. You expect people to not care?

Good for you. If we voted for war, should people opposed to war just take it on the chin?

    more rabble.

I thing the majority also cared about their country.
You can argue that the vote was close but its still a majority vote.
That's how a democratic society works.

You work in the legal sector so I'm sure you are comfortable with figures.
I'm sure you also know that the pound fluctuates all the time. It did before the referendum and will continue to do so after.

Something I find hard to understand, some brexiters think the nhs is overrun with foreign patients, they are taking up the appointments and so on.

Sunderland (first to leave) has an obesity rate of 68% among adults and 94% white British makeup so how does that work?

You say you worked in financial services.

Do you accept that a 11% move in a currency pair over 24 hours is extremely unusual?

why do you say a 'weak' pound is 'not a great thing'
what do you consider the 'right ' value for the pound?

the vast majority of economists that the view that the Germany currency would be much higher if they still had the DM.
They have been effectivity devalued by being part of a weak euro : is that good or bad for Germany?

That's it. take one statistic then exploit it.
    How about London?
