    The opposite.
Free of the EU risk and cost bear trap we will be even more of a safe haven for investors.

No, actually political instability and economic uncertainty aren't attractive for international investors.

Looking at the situation in continental Europe now (just check France, for example, and the failing economies of the Eurozone countries), I just don't think we can carry on like this. It will bring bankruptcy and strife to all the nations of Europe. The whole thing must be rethought and brought back to a commercial alliance, not the craziness of 'ever-greater political union', with completely open borders in a dangerous political situation. It is clearly not going to work as it stands – that's becoming as clear as daylight.

It is in no European country's interest for this situation to continue.

    Vote Leave.

Is there any correlation between intelligence/level of education and tendancy to vote either way?
Left is never right but I always am.

Without mentioning that the EU's employment law is lesser than that of UK law. The irony is amazing. This Tory majority haven't yet reduced us down to EU minimums have they?

Priti Patel might want to, Boris, Gove and Johnson might too, doesn't mean it's going to happen. I'm sure there's plenty more Tories that would want to do this, but it didn't happen in the coalition and it hasn't been proposed yet by a Tory majority. Do these Labour MP's want to reduce or remove workers rights?

    Ronnie Campbell - Blyth Valley
    Frank Field - Birkenhead
Roger Godsiff - Birmingham Hall Green
    Kate Hoey - Vauxhall
    Kelvin Hopkins - Luton North
    Gisela Stuart - Birmingham Edgbaston
Graham Stringer - Blackley and Broughton
    John Mann - Bassetlaw
    Dennis Skinner - Bolsover
John Cryer - Leyton and Wanstead

    Scare stories.
Sorry mate those are all fringe politicians. The mainstream is clear a Brexit will be a disaster. Polls show that you'll get your wish however. I think as I feared people are using this referendum as a lightening rod to express their dissatisfaction with loads of things.....all called immigration. Blaming the foreigner for their problems instead of taking responsibility themselves. Be careful what you wish for and batten down the hatches. Once we are out there'll be no one to blame other than those who put us in the bad place. Hard times here we come. You can also kiss goodbye to the Union. The SNP will never stand for Brexit. The SNP grew out of alienation from Westminister. Brexit will compound this.....the UK getting smaller and smaller......but if that's the will of the people.....:o

I'd quite like the EU to come forward with serious proposals after a Leave vote. They won't, but I would certainly vote to remain if the terms were agreeable. I don't see that they are at the moment.
    When you're out, you're out.
I believe brexit might actually be a strenghtening factor for the rest of the EU. When the UK goes into deep recession after exiting the largest free trade zone in the world, other EU nations will think twice about following the same path.
Don't blame me, I voted Remain.

I think upi'll find it's the UK that will go from strength to strength after leaving. :D

the elites have always had different interest to the the ordinary people

it is interesting to watch your new found admiration for the UK political class : you'll be voting Tory in 2020

but you are consistent with the way you despise the 'will of the people' :

Higher level of education seems to correlate reasonably strongly with being more likely to vote Remain from the various polls we have, not altogether surprisingly, as people with a higher level of education would be doing better economically on average than those who aren't.
