That'll have May quaking in her fancy shoes, will it?
Laughable!
Almost as laughable as "we deserve a referendum on the deal" ....... just how do you think would that work, exactly?
This has a long way to go and anyone presuming to know already how it 'will work' is talking crap.0 -
The EU would thus be motivated to offer us a bad deal, dohhh
Im starting to believe a second referendum might be a good idea, the question should be:
To accept the fantastic deal TM negotiates
or
Leave with nothing..."I want to die peacefully in my sleep like my grandfather, not screaming in terror like his passengers."0 -

The vote she's on about holding means nothing, it's just another opportunity to whinge and complain. Completely ignoring that the UK voted as a nation, not Scotland, England, Wales and N.Ireland. The Scottish electorate result doesn't and rightly shouldn't matter due to the choice they made in 2014.0 -

I'm sure the Scottish people care what you think about them having another referendum. Just for once think outside yourself and look at where Scotland is. Brexit and Mayhems approach is driving a wedge into the Union and bringing forward independence!
if independence is inevitable then the sooner the better.
in what way can The SNP have a different vote on brexit than that of the people of the UK?0 -
Labour may face a major rebellion as well and in any event you ignore the main point I made. I like many don't trust Mayhem, (an unelected PM), to come up with a good deal. The EU negotiators may eat her for breakfast and our rabid brexiteers, (we must leave whatever the cost) will be leaping lemming like over the cliff due to their own zealotry for Brexit....and taking the rest of us poor sods with them!

And yet you assume so much?
Hmmmmm.
You don't trust May?
You are presuming that there will be no "good deal"?
Tough, in a word.
We all realise by now that you would prefer to keep harping on until YOU get the deal YOU want and that YOU feel is best for YOU in YOUR opinion - and the rest of the UK (indeed the voting majority) can go take a running jump.
That is not how democracy works.0 -

I prefer reality.
Scotland voted to remain in the UK in 2014, knowing there was an EU referendum on the cards.
In 2016 there was a UK wide referendum on whether or not to leave the EU, and leave won.
It's pretty cut and dry in terms of facts. If we want to indulge in fantasy such as remaining in the UK and in the SM after Brexit, or some other specialised deal only for Scotland then feel free to do so but I'm not going to join fantasy island politics.
FYI - the SNP and UKIP are the divisive characters in this nation at the moment. They're as bad as each other.
You just appear to hate it because Brexit and TM's approach runs counter to everything you hold dear, rightly or wrongly.0 -
You have a crystal ball then? What makes you think she'll come back with a 'fantastic deal'. Do you know something the rest of us don't or are you 'wishful thinking' like Conrad!
Moby why are you so afraid of independence? Is life so terrible inside independent nations?
What other Thatcher creations are you so attached to?0 -

Must have taken some digging to find a post that's 2 years old. I do indeed have debts, just like more or less everyone else on here. That doesn't skew my employment or business options, beyond me wanting to remain employed. I'm not as far better off than in that post than I'd have liked, either
Though to be fair, none of us are doing our jobs for the fun of it. If someone has (making figures up) £100m of customers in the EU and only £1m in the UK, Brexit makes cross border stuff harder, what side of the border do you expect them to be on?0 -
