If we vote for Brexit what happens

I'm not sure if we need a referendum on the deal, but I'm glad that it's going to have to pass a vote in Parliament, which means May can't sneak in any old crap.
Not that I trust Parliament, but I trust May even less.0 -

Should do wonders for Scottish Independence. :T
We are in such a mess.....I just wish it was a bad dream!0 -
He's right .....we deserve a referendum on the deal. I for one don't trust Mayhem an inch to negotiate a good deal. She is weak. I saw her on Marr on Sunday. She is no Thatcher..........and could very easily be taken to the cleaners by the EU.
Do we just accept that whatever Mayhem gets we go with...whatever it looks like? Why should we, what sort of deal is that!
That'll have May quaking in her fancy shoes, will it?
Laughable!
Almost as laughable as "we deserve a referendum on the deal" ....... just how do you think would that work, exactly?0 -

your negative attitude to democrcy has been noted on many occasions: hopefully we will be rid of the autocratic rule of the EU elite but only time will tell.0 -
Nicola Sturgeon, the Scottish first minister, is planning to stage a Holyrood vote on article 50 even though the supreme court unanimously ruled that the UK government is not legally required to seek Scottish consent, as she edges slowly towards staging a second independence referendum.
Sturgeon had anticipated the court would reject the Scottish, Welsh and Northern Irish government’s claims that the “legislative consent” of all three parliaments was needed before triggering article 50.
But she will use the Holyrood vote to challenge opposition parties to support her demands that Scotland is given special access to the single market, even though that has been ruled out by the prime minister and other cabinet ministers.
Sturgeon used her new column in the Record on Monday to warn:No matter what the supreme court decides, I want to make this crystal clear: I intend to make sure the Scottish parliament has the chance to vote on triggering article 50.
And if the UK government doesn’t start showing Scotland some respect, I’ll make sure that people across Scotland have the chance to choose their own future, before the Tories drag us off an economic cliff edge.
.....................Hmmmmm as I was saying above the Union is in a fix!0 -
That was worrying for the Union! The Judges ruled that the UK Govmt doesn't have to consult the constituent Scottish parliament/Welsh N Ireland Assemblies. Mayhem will be relieved at that.....but really it's bad news for the future of the union!:( The SNP will use that I'm sure!
We are in such a mess.....I just wish it was a bad dream!
You are?
From a Scottish POV this has been discussed ad nauseam on that part of these forums.
Take a peek, when you have a few days to scroll through the screeds.

In a nutshell though it does very much look like Scots at least would prefer to remain part of the UK for now at least.
Post-Brexit, who knows?
So again, just who exactly is in "such a mess"?
And why?
BTW, if you rely on the say-so of some deluded SNP acolytes - and I include Sturgeon in that small list - you are in for a shock.
Visit Scotland or - better - live here.
See the reaction "on the ground" as it were.
Things are not like the SNP would have you believe.0 -
She is the absolute epitome of grievance politics.
The vote she's on about holding means nothing, it's just another opportunity to whinge and complain. Completely ignoring that the UK voted as a nation, not Scotland, England, Wales and N.Ireland. The Scottish electorate result doesn't and rightly shouldn't matter due to the choice they made in 2014.0
