    you are becoming completely irrational

No - I think the Brexiters are lying to people about what is going to happen to their employment prospects.

I work for a US company and tbh my living will be unaffected by Brexit. Plenty of other people's will. I fear for them. They are being lied to.

    Except it is.

How curious that the country most likely to leave the EU, gets the most foreign investment.

What are the chances of that happening?
If I don't reply to your post,
you're probably on my ignore list.

There is no chance that Turkey and the middle east will join the EU. So why would you right it if you weren't scaremongering?

    why are you scared of Turkey joining the EU : If you believe in free trade in goods, service and people why would you not welcome the whole middle east /north africa joining asap?;
    Why does it scare you?
Just think, London could grow to 12 million is a year, 20 million by 2020... isn't that what you want ?

I am concerned about the people of the UK.
You may only consider you own narrow personal self interest but I have a wider perspective.

    Sure.

On the behalf of all Londoners - thank you for worrying about something that we don't worry about. We are deeply in your debt.

what rational reasons do you have to say that jobs will be lost?
The reduced flow of immigrant will increase the demand for people in the UK; increase wages and reduce unemployment further

    you are becoming increasing irrational.

we are discussing the effect of staying or leaving the EU and not the personal effect on you specifically.

    So blame the immigrants????

I didn't think it would be long before the Pro EU lobby play the Joker card and accuse anyone who doesn't agree with them as being a bigot.

Thats quite a pathetic post smf.;)
It will continue if we REMAIN.
If we leave we are free to sign our own trade deals around the world

The world smf is a huge place and we would have access to all of the markets around the world.

The irony is people like you see Brexit voters as insular little Englanders when in fact its the Pro EU lobby who are insular and fail to go out into the world and trade and feel somehow "safe" in the that small area of the globe called the EU.

Just reading your posts I do think you need to have break away from the keyboard, maybe a nice cup of tea and a walk in the garden?.

I enjoy being a European but ashamed to be an EU citizen but hopefully not for much longer.

This is troubling - I am against EU membership because I find in anti-democratic, bureaucratic, anti-liberal (small l) and anti-capitalist (/statist/corporatist).

However I fear the way I could help to achieve the exit vote I would like to see would be to bang on about immigration, controlling our borders, terrorism, over-crowding, scarce NHS resources etc, none of which I actually believe in :(

    ....

    I'm in the same ballpark.

I don't like the EU. A bad expression of a good idea, if you ask me. I'd be more than happy to leave.

On the other hand, the more I hear from the Brexit Boys banging on about immigration, and borders, and more immigration, the more attractive life within the EU becomes. :)
