If we vote for Brexit what happens

the EU doesn't stand to gain or lose anything; the voters of Bavaria do however.
I think the UK is on the back foot.
Why has the EU not opened negotiations with UK yet. It is up to Ms May now.
And she has sacked an EU Ambassador already. Well he resigned lol.
Because he told the truth, and said I'm off.....but no one is listening.0 -

I understand it was our EU ambassador that advised caution and delay and in keeping, with diplomatic processes, absolute secracy.0 -

Will be back in March. (or before), You know, the date that la May said it will all happen.
I have no skin in the game but I hope it will work out for those who said GO.0 -

As a Remainer I've actually given up worrying about Brexit to an extent, it seems pointless retreading the same ground over and over again.
The Leave Campaign won the vote and that has to be respected.
The 3 Brexiteers in the key departments need to be concentrating on delivering the laundry list of pledges which were made throughout the campaign, many of us thought they were pie in the sky nonsense but they will now have the chance to deliver on them.
I certainly hope they can, its in all of our best interests to see a Brexit which is as successful as possible.
What I don't want is to be coming on here in March 2019 and listening to excuses and finger pointing as to how we're looking at a lousy deal because of the EU or Remoaners or some other handy scapegoat.
Team Brexit, you won, you can enjoy that for a while but you need to focus on delivering what you promised the British people, if you can't do that our exit from the EU may not prove to be particularly long lived0 -
Filo that's quite an admirable attitude from you here, it takes stregnth to resolve a loss and move on positively or with an open mind. I think if Brexit goes badly, which I do not expect, the people will harden even more against the EU actually, there will be no going back0

If Brexit goes badly public opinion will move rapidly against all the Brextremists who made panglossian predictions that the EU would bend over backwards to beg for our business.
Never mind though Conrad.... Just stay away from mobs with pitchforks and ropes - you'll probably be fine.“The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie – deliberate, contrived, and dishonest – but the myth, persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic.
Belief in myths allows the comfort of opinion without the discomfort of thought.”

I'm with you Filo, Britain is leaving there is no doubt about that. We now have to see if the Brexiteers can cut the mustard and negotiate a good deal with the EU and sign up lots of positive trade deals with the rest of the world.
We can only watch and wait. There will be no Brexit dividend for Britain.0 -
For us to win big at the negotiation we require people that profoundly believe in opportunity Brexit presents, that posses imagination and total confidence.
Having that wally round he table would be akin to having a Veggie negotiate on behave of UK beef producers.
Thing is, wherever he stands on the Brexit thing, he'll still want what's best for the UK and himself out of it.
Would you rather negotiations were being dealt with by someone who was competent & experienced, or someone who was enthusiastic?0
