Well all Prime minister May has to do is trigger article 50 and then the guarantees could be given. No one is forcing her to wait till March but the government's own indecisiveness.
The EU is just sticking to what they said. Nothing can be discussed before article 50 is triggered. That seems fair enough.
No, no-one in the EU27 has said anything about any guarantees whatsoever.0 -

You Chaps are the masters of hyperbole aren't you?
I think I did see that collection of oddballs in their Union Jack suits and if thats a baying mob, then you`ve lead a sheltered existence.
Educate yourself on the 'real deal' fascists currently making real gains on mainland Europe, it is truly scary.
We will do well to distance ourselves from a continent that is finding solace in the politics of the far right.
The 'baying mob' of right wing nut jobs are far more subtle these days.
They tend to use social media to spew their bile.
Like the 25000 that tweeted support for the murder of Jo CoxChange is inevitable, except from a vending machine.0 -
I sense a bit of resentment coming today at another 20+% swing to LD last night, leaving the Conservatives with a majority of 2.
Oh dear, I feel so sorry for the Brexiteers:D:D

I don't think it is as straightforward as that CK. Did the LDs win because the seat voted to remain, unlike most others? Did it vote LD because they didn't think an independent could deliver on Heathrow? Did it vote LD because the full.force of the party was out, something an independent could never achieve?
Also, a member of the EU negotiating team Guy Verhofstadt has tweeted offering his congratulations. The EU has no place involving itself in democratic elections in the UK and Verhofstetdter is being deliberately inflammatory. I voted remain and it even annoyed me.

I demand a re-run in Richmond, a 49% majority on a 50% turn-out is not good enough, plus the voters were lied to
Leave won c70% by Constituency on a higher turnout proportion0
