If we vote for Brexit what happens

I assume it'll be much easier for an EU National to get out of the UK once the gates shut, than to get in. It may actually work alright, but if I was hedging my bets I'd want to start on the inside.
presumbaly the reciprocal situation is also true : it will be easier for a brit to get out of the EU than to get in: one can expect half those on the board to move the EU immediately (maybe you are all actaully posting from EU already)0 -
Your examples of small minded xenephobia in Europe doesn't justify the small minded little Englander xenophobia here! Two wrongs don't make a right!
They're hardly examples of small minded xenophobia, these are legislative changes at a national level, and government statements by representatives elected by the people of European nations.
If the people of Europe, their governments and legislative bodies have concerns around immigration, why are you not calling them little Dutchies, little Frenchies, little Hungarians, little Swedes? And if you are thinking of calling them these derogatory terms, why would you do that?! You don't know them, you don't know the issues they face or why they took the decisions they did, you have no evidence whatsoever. You've identified people you perceive to be victims and perpetrators in this scenario and you're virtue signalling on behalf of the "victims", feeling proud that you're doing so having actually done nothing. If the parents of the 1,400 young girls raped in Rotherham voted to leave are you going to tell them they're xenophobic? Are you going to call them little Englanders? Or a different derogatory term?
You're being a bigot for not accepting that these people in Europe and people in this country might have a different opinion to you, and may have a valid reason for that opinion that you're not aware of and refuse to entertain. You don't walk in these peoples shoes, so how can you dismiss their opinion in this way?
All it is, particularly in reference to the UK, is that you don't agree with the way they voted, so they're a bigot, or a racist, or an islamophobe, perhaps all 3 and more. And that's the extent of your argument. You label them because you think it makes them feel bad, but they don't. Why? Because they know you're talking crap. You call it wrong because you do not understand their motivations, and you never will. In a democracy, during an election or a referendum peoples decisions are made in private, in a booth based on the individuals perspectives, experiences and opinions. Who are you to tar them all with the same brush because you dislike what they chose? I'll tell you - a bigot.0 -

Typical far right trait to minimise fascist behaviour on mainland Europe and describe it as small-minded xenophobia.
You`d be more at home in one of the burgeoning hotbeds of fascism like Eastern Germany, Holland or Austria surely?
The UK is as its always been, a beacon of tolerance, hence the 3.3 million and growing amount of EU citizens who have made their home here.
Your narrative on Brexit is hopelessly flawed and you know it.“Britain- A friend to all, beholden to none”. 🇬🇧0 -

Well, no, because [a] the EU isn't trying to restrict movement and we're potentially being offered EU citizenship anyway. Win-win for you anyway, since my and my taxes would stop clogging up your infrastructure :j0 -

Bless you Tromking, are you on Conrads happy pills too?
As a simple example, did you see that rabid mob baying near Downing Street, I think, on the day of the autumn statement?0 -

surprising then that Donald Tusk didn't just say that Brits would all be allowed to stay in the EU after brexit0 -

And Merkel is refusing a deal which would give reassurance to all expats whether they are British or citizens of other EU countries.

So who is causing the problem? It doesn't look like the little Englanders.0 -
The talk about the inevitability of weakening currency being due to the trade deficit is a load of guff.
Not just the trade deficit but the level of UK indebtedness. Note how the FTSE weakens when the £ rises. There's a noticable correlation. Cheaper imports or lower investment returns. There's no outright winner.0 -

Indeed. But then, he's no idea what kind of crazy deal May might go for, and if he guarantees EU access to Brits, then he'll have issues if May gets a deal that involves completely closed borders.
May still hasn't said anything about whether EU citizens will have leave to remain in the UK, either.0 -

You Chaps are the masters of hyperbole aren't you?
I think I did see that collection of oddballs in their Union Jack suits and if thats a baying mob, then you`ve lead a sheltered existence.
Educate yourself on the 'real deal' fascists currently making real gains on mainland Europe, it is truly scary.
We will do well to distance ourselves from a continent that is finding solace in the politics of the far right.“Britain- A friend to all, beholden to none”. 🇬🇧0
