I'm sure your MP has been delighted to receive your never-ending letters demanding to know what they've been doing since you exercised your power to elect them.
Most MPs do not need to asked this as they will report via their websiteFew people are capable of expressing with equanimity opinions which differ from the prejudices of their social environment. Most people are incapable of forming such opinions.0 -
just seen when the french elections are ....April..?
ah ha so that's why the EU wants us to talk.,,
MR Bond............In march..

The EU will want the UK to leave but keep every single condition of EU membership. Unrealistic of course but I don't think their approach is really overly difficult to predict.
...
When the going gets tough, this principalled EU with all it's "red lines" will break down in to individual state interests, and s*d the others.
Of course, I'm taking my steer from not so distant events like the refugee crisis. Germany invites them over for dinner. Hungary shows off it's new fence. Greece and Italy complain of masses of boats arriving, and still they get ignored.
If that's an example of a unified EU dealing with a major issue, I'd hate to see an EU fumble.
Eire have of course piped up before the negotiations start. They know they are an ideal candidate for the role of sacrificial lamb.0 -

With a protectionist Trump presidency for the next 4 years......that doesnt auger well for all those trade deals does it. Surely protectionism will grow and more than ever it is surely right that our countries future is best served within the largest free trade zone on the planet.........but guess what we've just voted to leave it.........it must be a bad dream.
Trumps victory will clearly concentrate the minds of the other 27 states in coordinating their approach to the Brexit deal......but Im sure Boris, Liam and Dave will find a way through the morass........I see their point man Nige has already had a private audience with the small fingered groper. We are clearly in safe hands:rotfl: what an embarrassement we are!0 -

Not much can happen at the moment.
We are now waiting for the Governments appeal to be heard and pronounced upon.
We can only speculate (posh word for guess) what that result will be and then speculate on what the Government will do if they loose.
Lots of guessing also going on in businesses in Britain and elsewhere on their future investments.
Let us all hope that this uncertainty does not cause too much harm to British interests. There will be no Brexit dividend for Britain.0 -

I really wish you would decide whether you really want to be British or not.
Because it appears from your posts that you are desirous of being a "fairweather friend" who is beginning to wobble on that fence upon which you precariously balance.
So please, either admit your patriotism or use "you" instead of "we".0
