If we vote for Brexit what happens

you do that all the time expect on the election day that comes only every 5 years
that's the only day you are guaranteed to have an impact.
there is an election not later than 2020.
maybe we should have more frequenct referendum where we could exercise trust rather than unflinching faith
Do you really vote for someone to represent you and then take zero interest in what they do for the next 5 years? I'm afraid to tell you this complete abdication of decision making is a little naive because your MP's surgery will be attended by people lobbying for their own ends which might be at odds with yours.0 -
I'm sure your MP has been delighted to receive your never-ending letters demanding to know what they've been doing since you exercised your power to elect them.
I can check what my MP is up to by checking their website. Should I be so inclined I have a weekly opportunity to meet them and ask.0 -

Italian Government effectively faces a vote of confidence next month from the electorate. More elections to follow in 2018 across Europe. There's no certainty until the day for signing finally arrives.
Says me. I was asked what I thought. I think we can agree that the starting point for the EU won't be a deal which is better than we have now. Therefore the deal they want us to accept will be between the status quo and somewhat worse.
Yes, it's uncertain and will be affected by political changes in member states but you could've said that a year ago and you'll still be able to say that this time next year. All negotiations take place against a background of change rather than in a vacuum.
My view is that the uncertainty is damaging and if there's no certainty until a deal is signed I tend to think the process should be accelerated.0 -
We can only speculate (posh word for guess) what that result will be and then speculate on what the Government will do if they loose.
Lose what precisely? The UK is free to make it's own laws. Trade is governed by WTO rules. So in effect becomes a 2 way street between the UK and the EU. Everything will evolve naturally over time anyway.0 -

I really wish you would decide whether you really want to be British or not.
Because it appears from your posts that you are desirous of being a "fairweather friend" who is beginning to wobble on that fence upon which you precariously balance.
So please, either admit your patriotism or use "you" instead of "we".
Can't beat the heady scent of nationalism.0 -

My MP isn't allowed to know what progress is being made with regard to Brexit.
he's not allowed to know what is in the autumn statement either : obviously I blame this on the last 40 years of EU shambles and incompetence and lack of democracy
once we are free, all future policies details will be available on line even before the ministers know anything about them0 -
