I assume transfer to logically means switch - I doubt many people would want to waste time transferring their main account manually. Very risky as well!
I will transfer a balance to it plus set up a couple of SO so no risk and that to me is 'transferring to it'. They should state you have to switch if that's what you have to do but they have not.0 -
Did any body else manage to bash 2 applications in last night ?
Did one around 11pm through top cash back had to sign up for an account to do that. Took screen shots and URLs as I went , then made another application via quidco and put in a claim on their price match guarantee. The beauty of the quidco application although the T & C `s are onerous , they are at least clear and concise. Not heard back from quidco yet. Quite possibly still scratching their heads.
Had the email this evening from TCB , that basically says they messed up but they will honour the cashback. So now I just need coop to play ball and give me 2 accounts. Going to be fun.0 -
Yay! Just got my acceptance email with the WEB reference... Isn't this going to be fun0

I have just received my application approved email from the Coop. Noted that the email says "If you would like to switch, please call 03457 212 212 or visit us at a Co-operative Bank Branch" which to me suggests that switching is optional.0

Got my approval email too just now.0

I received my confirmation email this morning. I usually tend to leave things and miss the boat! I think I will just transfer a little money in and set up a couple of dd from tesco and see what happens. I like these games.0

I also applied yesterday and got approval email today.
Just to confirm there is no need to transfer a bank account to Co-op?
manually setting up SO with some payts in etc will do the trick?
Thanks0 -

You cheeky clever so-and-so. I was so consumed with one application, didn't even think of two or more. One to remember for next time0
