Wearing the playsuit I bought and thought was too short / young for me. Lovely and cool in this weather.

Somehow I went shopping again and spent another 33 quid on clothes, playsuit, 2 sports bras, sports vest and a pair of shorts, but I'm going to take the shorts back.

Just popping in to say I haven't bought anything since the emergency jeans on 2nd July - clothes buying just hasn't been on my mind.

Took back a pair of shorts so that's £5 back.

£8 on some socks, but as its underwear I'm not adding to my total.

Hi Vintagegirl - I'm good thanks - I had a "wobbly week" last week just the side effects of continuously putting myself "out there" work wise - I'm coming up for a year of self employment soon.... Settled down this week though and I have been enjoying the sun. How have you been? xxx

Somerandom, would love to hear some advice. I have been in full employment since the age of 15 (For 30 years). Have always had a salary coming in. Next July I am going to be made redundant and have decided to go self employed. I am also going to need to put myself out there. It scares me a little.

Sorry everyone that it is not on topic.

Glad you're ok somerandom. Work and income security is a worry isn't it. Especially if you have a tendency to be a spender.

I'm ok thank you, still having bad days and feeling angry though. I wish I knew when it would end! Am still considering getting a punchbag to try and get some anger out. Not sure if i'd just feel silly though!

Got some new bits this week but not counting them as they were with birthday money (mainly). Had a bit of an obsession with the Orla kiely for Clarks shoes, and they had some previous season ones at Bicester for £36 instead of £120ish... I got 3 pairs though ! But one pair is for winter and will replace some scuffed boots. Also got a bag in Cath k with birthday money.

Also got some wellibobs - little ankle wellies - for holiday as the weather doesn't look great, and I can't get my normal wellies on my calves any more!! Not pleased about that. So need to add £23 to total.

Glad I'm not including children's clothes as my daughter seems to grow daily... Also got to get some school uniform for my son this week but I think his dad is paying, I'll pay for my daughters (which will be cheaper).

Need to try and have another run of no spending soon... And try to get in some of the too tight clothes!

Hope you all have a lovely week. I'm going to try and wear something every day that I haven't worn in ages, this is often shoes for me.
